“They have good stock and the people that work at the front are great at answering questions. Usually my go-to for locally..tends to be open late. However my partner loves the frozen drink pouches that are held in the back deep freezer ... No issues except there is always a guy sitting around it that when asked to allow us to retrieve seems bothered that I needed anything from there... I don't want to upset the guy, just want to get some adult drink pouches. Should I have answered a riddle first like the gap troll.btw doesn't help that the fridge is on top of a ramp...guess it's one of the many neighbors quarks I have gotten to know. But great spot for booze!”
“This place is fantastic. A little slice of North Bergen culture in a one stop super friendly bar/liquor store. My wife and I rocked up to buy a couple of beers to take home. We ended up staying a couple of hours and leaving as firm friends. Great selection of drinks - really good prices, but the company, the atmosphere and the general vibe is what you come for.”

“This place has the very best churasco! It's a great portion and I always leave full without ordering any appetizers. Their chimichurri sauce is by far the best! It's a little pricey. And they never over con my medium rare steak”

“Asked John (believe he was manager) regarding some beer that I was looking for. He went to the back cooler and confirmed they didn’t have it. Ok no big deal…I could’ve lived without today. However, he then reached out to their Hoboken location…which did have it. From there he suggested/highly recommended that they could deliver directly to my apartment…which he arranged effortlessly.
I shouldn’t be surprised, because these were basic customer service practices that should be done…but unfortunately most do not go this level. Kudos to the team at Giannone Wine and Liquor for doing the right thing and maintaining the highest level of customer service!!!”
