ShopRite in West Milford has serviced my family with good fruit and nonperishable products over the last five years , no complaints, good products and tasteful as any other good quality store I've purchased from.

I recommend this Shop Rite to friends. There is plenty of parking, the workers are helpful and friendly and they are usually well stocked. I understand there have been shortages because of the state of affairs... to be expected. Today I bought fish and asked for half a pound of flounder because it was just for me. He replied "I don't care who it is for, your mother , sister or brother ". Attitude like that is bad for business and I will never go to that counter if I see him again. DISRESPECTFUL!

ShopRite of West Milford is horrible!!! Most of their produce is disgusting. Not fresh at all. They are always out of stock. This was happening even before the pandemic and now it's even worse. Their home delivery is a joke. I finally got them to call me if they were out of something on my list (which is what they were supposed to do all along - my phone number is there for this purpose) and even after I tell them what to substitute it with they STILL DON'T. They even tell me what they can replace it with. What the heck is wrong with them??They need to start hiring people with intelligence. Every single time I have this problem!!! I called numerous times complaining about this yet 4 years later they still can't get my orders right. I'll call them ShopWrong from now on. I'm so freaking frustrated with them. Then I get a text message about the substitutions and it's the complete opposite of what we spoke about with no way for me to respond back about what to substitute my items for. 9 out of 10 times they just don't substitute it at all even when they have the items that they can substitute it with. Now the delivery guys seem to think I'm their complaint department because they constantly rant to me about their job. Why?? I'm a customer. I can be empathetic to their issues but I have my own. Please just deliver my groceries. Then I have one that constantly needs to make comments about my house or the way I look. That's very unprofessional and makes me uncomfortable to say the least. I always tip very well but they just need to stop with all their comments and complaints to me. ShopWrong start making things right!!!!

Worst deli section anywhere. Slow as hell. Otherwise ok. Like the renovation. Nothing more to add.

I have, out of necessity, shopped at SR for decades. Many employees have been there for decades, also, and are mature and perhaps feel empowered due to their seniority. I do applaud their work amid the Covid issues, but the store's failings may be due to weak management.During this time of Covid, I have been to department stores, restaurants with outdoor dining, and other supermarkets. Nothing anywhere has been more poorly organized and nowhere has enforcement of "rules" been more lax and inconsistent than here.Directional arrows shown at ends of crowded aisles are frequently disregarded and people are every which way. Long lines are formed to await checkouts in directions opposite the shopper arrows, causing two way traffic and shoppers who must cut into lines to get items More than a couple of shoppers, young adult and old, wear "mandatory" masks around their chins instead of where they belong. No reminder announcements are made and no management challenges the customers' diregard for the rules. I didn't notice any reminder signs.(Management should visit TJ Maxx for a proper lesson) This ShopRite is a store that used to announce employee birthdays and other silliness over the PA, so I know the store has the system.Pallets of cardboard boxes occupy the produce section on a crowded Sunday (no limits to number of occupants??). Many frozen meat items have no accurate prices displayed. There are arrows, tape, cones, and markings every which way and people equally confusingly situated. The parking lot has litter and rolling carts since people are too lazy to return them to a stall. The employees should remove trash from carts upon retrieving them, but again, that is a management issue. We will soon have another food store in town, and the Kinnelon/Butler area has a nice Stop and Shop and BJ's. I advise everyone to demand more of such a high volume store and begin by shopping elsewhere if possible.

Checkout lines are horrible. Open up all the cash registers especially during this pandemic. It's stressful enough to do the shopping then u have to wait 30 min to checkout. Meanwhile some employees walk around doing nothing.

This review is to commend one of Shop-Rite of West Milford's excellent employees - Nour Elshaer. Nour is currently training to be the Assistant Store Manager - and I can only say that Shop-Rite is lucky to have her. She has excellent customer service skills and would be an asset to any company. In addition, she is compassionate and truly cares about her customers. In this difficult and stressful time the world needs more Nour Elshaer's - she makes it easy to want to do business with Shop-Rite of West Milford.

I used to love this store. Still do, at least parts of it. Often I find that they are sold out of a product I need and used to find there all the time. Scallions. Not a scallion to be had during the holidays. Zucchini. Really? Not a zucchini in the store last week except for three tiny organic ones that had seen better days. I love the prepared sandwiches they have in the case, but can anyone tell me why the lettuce and tomatoes on these subs are always dry and wilted? Even when I get them made fresh. At these prices, the prepared food should at least be fresh and appetizing. But my latest gripe has to do with the Bowl and Basket milk. Last week, I bought a gallon of Bowl and Basket milk, bottled by Reddington Farms. I thought it tasted funny. Not sour, but like ash and plastic. The whole gallon was like that. Was I getting sick? Are my tastebuds off? Then, I bought a new gallon two days ago. Same thing! Did Shoprite switch dairies? Are they using a cheaper, unsafe jug? I had my roommate taste it and she agreed with me. It's awful! And it's not like you have a choice of other brands. Even the organic Wholesome Pantry milk is bottled by Reddington Farms. Personally, I fear for the health of anyone drinking this slop. Also, not a fan of the new labeling. The pastels do not make my mouth water at all. P.S. Now getting our milk from Q & S Convenience.

Employees are in general unfriendly and sometimes downright rude. Today I was yelled at by two guys working the soda aisle after I called them out on a loud political conversation and a racist remark about Corey Booker. They continued to yell at me even after I moved to the next aisle. This is outrageous and unacceptable. In addition, the produce is not fresh and goes bad quickly after I get it home. The apples are always bruised. Prices have been creeping up. Find another place to grocery shop!

Why is everybody at this location SO MISERABLE. Maybe it's cause I used to work there or just that they treat their employees really bad ? who knows but there is NEVER a time where I can go here and NOT get either a horrible attitude about a simple question or the worst death stare from literally anybody.. you can say thankyou so much or literally be so appreciative of anything and not even get a damn reply.. never have I come here and had someone seem like it wasn't detrimental to their life to help me with something. At least when I worked there I didn't think "union" meant I could be rude and awful to everybodyand not get fired because apparently that's the mindset they all have

The original employees that have worked at WM Shoprite for years are AMAZING, but...management is poor! There is always a shortage of employees working and there needs to be more cashiers in general.
