I am new to the area and really needed a new jeweler that I could trust. I have had bad experiences in the past so I was reluctant to give them a try but wow I feel lucky to have found them ! Everyone is so friendly and I really feel like I could trust them. I’ve already had them fix bunch of broken jewelry for me and I plan on purchasing with them soon. Thank you West Essex Jewlers!

Came in 11/21 for a bracelet replacement instead of taking advantage and selling me an overpriced one Doug repaired the original for free. He didn’t know how much he made my day as the watch was a gift from my grandmother who passed away many years ago.

I went in to find out about getting a watch I purchased resized (just needed some links removed). Customer service was great and I was helped fairly quickly. However, I did deduct one star because the guy who helped me resized the watch BEFORE quoting me the price. I felt trapped. Had I known, I probably wouldn't have gotten the watch resized, and would hav opted to return the watch instead (it was a $10 service on a $12 watch; while not an unreasonable price for resizing a watch, I don't know if spending almost as much to resize as the watch cost is wroth it).

If I could give them 100 stars I would. Joe and Virginia were an absolute pleasure to work with. I ended up being allergic to my white gold engagement ring. I was completely devastated but Joe and Virginia made sure they took care of me every step of the way. They calmed my nerves, ordered me a new ring in platinum and even expedited the process for me so I could be wearing my ring as soon as possible. My family has used them for many years, and I am so confident in them, I would never go anywhere else. They truly treat you like family. Thank you Joe and Virginia and the entire West Essex Jewelers family for making a terrible nightmare a quick fix. I am so thankful for you.

I've had a hard time finding a jeweler that I could completely trust, but I have to share that I had a wonderful experience at West Essex Jewelers. I have been holding on to some of my mother's piece for years and here I was able to feel comfortable enough to sell and purchase piece that I will use for a lifetime in my mother's memory. That is how Geri made me feel!! She had so much patience with me and helped me find everything I wanted. I was also able to get some of my older jewelry fixed on the spot and watches repaired. I completely trust them and especially Geri because she made me feel so comfortable with the process of letting go of my mother's jewels that I would never use. Now I have piece that I can use daily and on special occasions in my mother's memory. Thank you Geri
