Imagine paying over $24,000 OTD for an 8 year old Honda with an advertised price of less than $20,000? They itemized everything over the phone (including a $600 doc fee) and at the very end, they quickly said "and Fourteen Ninety-Five for a certification fee / peace-of-mind fee" which is actually ONE THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRD AND NINTY-FIVE DOLLARS! I questioned that as I wanted an itemized price up-front (imaging that), and that's when the relationship got, mysterious, awkward and unsettling and I was completely turned-off without even setting foot on their premises. Not the salesperson's fault; it's the policy set forth by ownership and what's disgusting is, it seems their business ethics have not changed in years.

Showed up on a Monday on a lark for an oil change. Most Honda dealerships booked weekends out the month.Shocked the pleasant woman on the phone for the disservice department squeezes me in immediately. She of course takes all my information For whatever reason down to the VIN number. It was indeed my first - and last time here. Then I go inside and there at the service desk is a heavily tattooed guy with a bowl haircut right out of the Three Stooges only he's not funny. I take no offense at heavily tattooed people or bowl cuts but not when I'm treated like this.No eye contact, blunt and appears inconvenienced having to check me in.Then the garbage moment: after he makes me go outside to the car to get more pointless paperwork, quotes me a fraudulent $81.00 for an oil change. Was he bright enough to realize he likely typed "two" oil changes or was he/Honda really trying to fleece me? That will remain a mystery. So knowing he's wrong, I say that $81 can't be right - I've gotten oil changes only at Hondas for decades and they're $49 dollars or so currently - like the sign says outside. You know what Menacing Moe does? Stares me down menacingly - I'd estimate at least 15 straight seconds to show me he was a tough guy which - surprise - resulted in my walking out while he and his other tattooed pal (they appeared to be matching sleeves for the two of them) went on mistreating other patrons by likely running the same shakedown on them. It's one thing to make a stupid mistake and quite another to arrogantly inform me by a viper stare Paul Miller Honda charges $81 for an oil changes despite signs outside and I'm sure if got all Karen on him, the manager would say the same. Never going near this place again

We didn't do our research and got taken advantage of. I guess we should blame ourselves, but had our guard down because we'd had good experiences here before. The salesperson was dishonest and when asked to explain was confrontational and hung up on me. I was upset, but did not yell or speak disrespectfully.

Not surprised this place has a 1 star BBB rating and is not accredited by the BBB. I wish I had done my research before bringing my truck here. I brought my truck in to have the lower control arms replaced due to a bad bushing. However, my truck drove perfectly fine but I knew it needed to be replaced. I had my lower control arms and front brakes replaced, and rear parking brake adjusted and an alignment about $1,300. I picked my truck up and immediately I knew something was not right. I called the service advisor Guss and told him my truck is not driving correctly its pulling to the left and right under acceleration. I also explain to him it does not feel safe to drive. I brought the truck back the next day to drop it off. They are unable to figure out what is wrong with the vehicle came up with any and everything that could be the problem. First they said my engine mounts were bad and this is what is causing the problem. Then they said because the truck has a lift kit this is likely the problem, despite this lift kit having been on my truck for 3 years with no drivability issues whatsoever. The service manager Danny said we will refund you for the alignment. Now you want to refund me for work you've completed even though you claim the issue is unrelated to work you've completed. I refuse to take the refund and told him I want my truck to drive like it did before I brought it to your dealership. They kept my truck for a week! No one initiated a follow up call to me I had to call them leaving numerous unanswered messages. Once I talked to the service advisor Guss and ask for a loaner car of course he says we don't have any. He told me I would receive a call at noon with an update about my vehicle. Surprise surprise no call. I then get online and start doing some research and find they have a 1 star rating from the BBB and immediately call the dealership and said do not touch my truck! Spoke to Dave the GM who was short with me and argumentative. Dave calls me a few hours later to ask what I would like the resolution to be, and I said "for my vehicle to drive how it did before I brought it to your dealership". Dave begins to raise his voice talking over me stating "if it were me I would have never touch your vehicle!" This coming from the General Manager of a Honda dealership who claims to have 36 years experience. I paid $1300 for service and Dave spoke to me as if he did me a favor! My truck is unstable and feels dangerous at highway speeds. At 65mph it now has a violent shake that forced me to the side of the road! I explained to you Dave, Danny, and Guss that my vehicle did not feel safe to drive, and your response was pay $3,200 more and we can fix it! Amazing customer service for someone who has purchased 10 NEW Honda/Acuras over the last 13 years!

This is the only time I ever left a bad review for a business. Price listed online for a car ended up being $5,000 more when I went in person because of random additions that I was told I can't say no to including a $1,500 "peace of mind" fee which I did not want it need. I can understand $1,000 or so markup plus taxes and DMV fees but this felt like a complete dupe. They acted insulted and a bit demeaning when I was trying to understand how the price got so high. Wasted a lot of time. Be more honest about your pricing to avoid wasting more time.

6/10/2023: 0 stars. Save yourself a headache and a lot of time if you are going for a used car advertised online. I sent an online inquiry on Friday, and received a phone call from a salesperson (Christine) at 9:10am on Saturday confirming that the car was available. a 2010 Honda Civic with under 44k miles priced at $10k. I told the salesperson that I had purchased two other cars from this dealership (both from Lou who has retired), including my son's 2007 Honda Civic that we were looking to replace, as it was totaled in an accident a few days earlier. I told her that we were coming from an hour away and specifically said "Don't sell the car to someone else." She said that wouldn't happen and sent me an email for an appointment at 1:00pm. My son and I arrived there at 12:15pm to find them in the process of selling the car. The manager (Ronald) said we should have come sooner. Really? I was given an appointment for 1:00pm and it was 12:15pm, so we were there in plenty of time. The manager said he has a 2014 Mazda for sale. Bait and switch? No thanks. We left extremely disappointed and annoyed and with Ronald's obnoxious "Have a nice day." To add to the disappointment and the annoyance at the waste of time, Ronald sent an email at 12:53pm thanking us for our time. Unbelievable.

EDIT 5/25/23: After 3 weeks, Paul Miller Honda would not respond to HONDA CORPORATE phone calls regarding the customer complaint I filed. Thanks to Honda corporate for doing the right thing and cutting me a check for the cost of the AAA services. Imagine how unprofessional this dealership is that they chose to ignore phone calls for 3 straight weeks coming from a corporate office. Thankfully Honda took pity on me and gave up trying to contact the dealer. Shame on Paul Miller Honda for showing 0% care or empathy regarding their mistake. Stay far away from this business. After 5 years and nearly 50,000 miles of driving my civic has always been perfectly reliable. I took the car to Paul Miller Honda for an oil change and inspection on a Saturday. I received the car back and proceeded to drive it and park it overnight. The next morning when I went to start the car the battery was dead. I had to call AAA on Easter to have the car unlocked and jump started for $130 so I could get home. Again, I have never had an issue with the car before and this occurs less than 24 hours after receiving the car back from the dealer. To add to this, the battery was left loose and not fully tied down within the engine compartment as discovered by the AAA technician, which I was informed could cause the electronics to short in a worst case scenario. After calling for 3 days I finally managed to speak to the service manager. He offered me no apology or sense of regret for the inconvenience and expense I incurred. I asked only to receive $130 in compensation for what I had to pay AAA as a result of the dealer's actions. The offer I received back was that IF I brought the car in for $1,300 of maintenance I could receive a 10% discount. So basically, if I want to "recover" my expense I need to spend $1170 at the dealer (which they will obviously profit from). An insulting offer. I have tried 3 times to contact the general manager leaving multiple voice mails to no avail. Does it sound like a coincidence that my perfectly reliable car's battery was dead the day after it was brought to Paul Miller? 2 weeks of calling the dealership and I have yet to receive an apology or have more than 1 conversation in which I could explain my problem.

If you need a straightforward salesperson for a car, Rob Orrock is your man. I went in to finance my leased car and was trying to be pushed into leasing another car by another salesperson, after I explained leasing wouldn't work for me. I came back a few days later and talked to Rob. He helped me and I got the price for financing. It was the the quickest time I spent at a car dealership. If you need someone to help you get a vehicle, Rob is your man.

I purchased a Honda Hybrid CRV in 2011. The salesman was uninformed about his product. I had to explain that in order to get the GPS , it was necessary to buy the Touring Package. The man knew nothing about it. He never revealed that the car did not include a spare tire or any emergency substitute. When I questioned this issue, I was told by the manager that Honda road service would be available any place in the USA to come to my car with a spare tire. Well, yesterday I got a flat tire. It has taken me a day to sort out this problem. I called Honda road service and they told me that I was misinformed. They are going to tow the car to Mavis for repair. There is no charge for the towing . What would you do in a real emergency? I am going to Mavis because Paul Miller Honda service Department is not answering their phone on Saturday during regular business hours. The level of service and lack of communication is unbelievable. Of you have a choice, do not deal with this company.

I would not recommend PAUL MILLER OF WEST CALDWELL dealership to Anyone. I took a look at a used Honda Accord Sport car without a deal being reached. His manager wouldnt drop the cost on a car which had an accident. Finally their price for the same used car dropped online. I called the salesperson to info him about the price being dropped online. I said if you can work out a price slightly lower id come by and buy the car. He said youd have to finance with us . I agreed. While doing the paperwork he showed me the cost which was almost 1000 dollars more than we agreed upon. He proceeded to apologize that he made a mistake even though his price was higher than his dealership posted online I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!

Picked up my new hybrid CRV yesterday. I have been leasing Hondas from this dealership , working with Newton for many years. Happy to see Newton promoted to manager. Newton introduced me to Rob who handled my transaction with professionalism . The entire transaction took 41 minutes!!! Well done you exceeded my expectations !
