The team was absolutely amazing. Fast, friendly and funny, we had a great group of 7 guys. They were very careful with everything! We had a lot of antiques and several large mirrors and televisions. Everything was packed well, the crew was extremely efficient. One of the large mirrors needed to be hoisted over the deck to the second floor. Everything was planned and executed. Seriously, these guys were fantastic and we highly appreciated their work and would recommend them in a heartbeat. For reference we moved at the beginning of April 2023.

This is my first experience with professional movers and I'm wondering why I waited so long! They were professional and courteous from start to finish while handling everything from larger pieces to pictures. Not only did I not lose or have anything broken, they finished in a fraction of the time it would of taken myself and my family, but it freed us up to clean and pack our last minute items, and then begin the unpacking phase of our move. I will never move again without these guys to help, not only saved me tons of time, I was able to unpack enough in the same day that it started to look like it was my house and i wasn't living out of boxes!! It was by far the best move I've ever had, Thanks Sinclair!

I will never move without the again! They showed up on time, very courteous, clean and extremely helpful! I was able to clean up and fill last minute boxes while they handled everything from the heavy lifting to small knick knacks. I moved into a second story without any problems. Not a single scratch on any walls or furniture and myself and my family were able to unpack and didn't have broken backs from moving! Worth every penny!

I used Sinclair to move from Philadelphia to Virginia and it was a fantastic experience. The estimator was very thorough and gave great advice. The crew was outstanding - they went out of their way to protect my stuff. I saw them put extra tape on heavy boxes, tighten legs on (already assembled) furniture, and they even asked me to open a box where they thought something was broken (it wasn't). Use them - you won't regret it!

Sinclair is a sub-contractor of Mayflower moving. While the initial experience with Cecelia was pleasant, she promised things that just did not happen. Our move occurred in June of this year. We booked with Sinclair/Mayflower a few months in advance. Day of our move the driver showed up and told us that he could not take all of our belongings because the last customers were a few thousand pounds over their estimated weight. He also told us that he was surprised that no one from Sinclair or Mayflower had told us as he had called a few days prior to let them know that our move could not be 100% accommodated. Julie, our move coordinator, was extremely unresponsive. Couldn't reach her day of the move. No one checked in or let us know how to proceed. We were renting and our lease was up in a few days...we were also set to leave PA for WA the next day with out 5 week old infant. Thankfully Jarrod, our driver, was able to contact someone who came to get the second truck load of our belongings the next day.Fast forward a week, we receive our first truck load...the movers were supposed to being essentials but instead we received our Christmas decorations and storage from the garage along with one couch and a mattress. They neglected to bring the crib/baby items or any clothes from our master bedroom. I suspect this is because we lived on the third and fourth floor of a duplex and the movers didn't want to carry everything down that many stairs...so they left it for the movers coming the following day. I get that its a ton of work, but to neglect to bring necessities is not okay...especially when you are paying upwards of $17,000 for a cross-country move.Meanwhile the second truck load was sitting in a storage facility in New Jersey. Apparently even though our items were picked up, no one told us that they would be living in a storage facility indefinitely until they could find a driver. For the next few weeks we called Julie at Sinclair everyday...she never had any update for us. Nor did she ever reach out to us for any updates. The only way we were able to get our items was by contacting Mayflower's general counsel and Sarah White at customer service (who was the only highlight of our move and very helpful). Our items were eventually delivered Mid-July and many items were damaged either from movers (there was a ring mark on our dresser like someone left a soda can on it?) or sitting in the heat in a warehouse in the middle of summer. Luckily by dealing with their lawyer and Sarah we were able to get some compensation, but truthfully not nearly enough to make up for what we had to spend on accommodations and necessities while waiting for the second truck that came 4 weeks after our delivery spread was set to end....and 2 months after the items were picked up.All in all I would caution anyone to use Sinclair after this experience, we certainly never will again. Specifically do not have Julie as your move coordinator she was impossible to communicate with and never called us back when she said she would etc. While Cecelia was great to work with, she is a sales person and at the end of the day does not do anything to coordinate your move whatsoever.

My wife and I just moved from New Jersey to Maryland. It was our first time using movers, so I was unsure of what to expect. Everyone was very nice and professional. They got the job done in a timely manner. All of the workers had a great attitude also, seemed like they all worked well together and made the best they could out of their day. I recommend their services to anyone looking to relocate.

Update 11/5/2021I believe in being fair so I'm updating my review. Sinclair-Mayflower have resolved the issue with my refund. USPS has been really slow with mail delivery. After my first refund check was returned due to address error. I was sent out another and it still hasn't arrived but That check was canceled and another shipped overnight. Again I can't stress enough the mover we had were great and customer service was great only hiccup was the refund but things were beyond there control. I would recommend their service and use them again if needed in the future. Cathy and Julie thanks for everything!Update 10/18/2021...I have to take some stars away. I'm due a refund. I was told to up front that if I was due a refund it would take up to 30 days. No problem with the refund policy but what I do have a problem with is My move was August 28 I expected my refund by September 28th. Its now October 18 and I still have not received it.. I have was then told they would check with billing and get back to me the next day well it's a week later and still no word on my refund. I I sent several follow up emails and decided to call today. I left a message still waiting to here back. I still give the movers 5 star but the handling of my refund is not 5 star service!!! IlI want to give our Sinclair movers a 5 star rating. These gentleman arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule. They were remarkable. They handled our belongs with care. Wrapped our furniture to protect it. I was expecting this to be an all day job but it wasn't. We moved from a 1500 Sq foot 3 bedroom to the top floor of our new place. They still did not miss a beat. I'm so upset because I only remember one of the movers names(Reece). We were pleased and tipped to show our appreciation. Moving is stressful enough but This Crew was the best no stress here. It even started raining really hard but they didn't let that stop them!!! everything was dry. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! REASONABLY, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY AND EXPERTS AT WHT they do! 5 star for sure

If you are looking for a moving company, go no further....!You cannot go wrong with Sinclair Moving & Storage---I do not give 5 stars,...that often, but Sinclair deserves it..!From your first phone call to Julie or Erin....to the estimate by Ed...everything goes smooth;y----And, when I first used Sinclair their prices were the best-! I have used them 3 times & my friend used them last year- & he thanked me for my advice...As an example- when using them the first time a few years ago- the move took less time than expected & Julie sent me a small refund check...!! That is being honest-My last move the 2 guys , Augie & David were terrific- the moved quickly....wrapped everything well- & everything arrived in good shape...nothing was damaged -& that includes a move from Philly to Burbank CA-So, in conclusion- " If you are looking for a mover- go with Sinclair, they are good and fair !!- Give them yout valuables to move- You will be satisfied- I guarantee it-They are the best- efficient/fast/nice people...& reasonably priced--!-Richard

From obtaining a quote to ironing out the final details for my local move, every step was smooth. The communication was great and all my questions were answered completely. The movers showed up early, got right down to business, and were very careful with the items. The move was completed and all items in place in less time than I thought it would take. No items were damaged, we had zero issues at all.

Should have posted this sooner, but this is a move from December 2020. At best, I know moving is difficult and stressful; however, the employees of Sinclair who moved me made things almost intolerable. Upon arriving, the first employee who came into my home to survey the move did not wear a mask and was not friendly and had no idea where to begin. The rest of the crew entered. Just to give you some background; there was snow, ice and rock salt from the previous nights snowfall. They made no attempt to cover the floors or the staircase, resulting in salt and water everywhere. They showed no concern. They were also outside smoking and having a loud conversation which included multiple profanities. They moved my furniture with no regard for the items, the walls, and anything else that came in their way, resulting in a broken window blind slat, and scuffs on the walls. They also used the bathroom multiple times as if it was a public restroom and were in for long periods of time. The wood floors were so wet, I had to mop them so they would not get damaged.Upon arrival to my new home, I informed the team that I did not want my new home to be treated with the same disregard as my old home was. He angrily stated, We cant help our feet! I asked if they had mats or anything to cover the floor. He shouted to another member to see if they had any runners. They put a few runners down. Again, there was no regard for property or safety and I had to remind them to put masks on. My Tvs were not put in boxes, as I was charged for, but rather carried by hand and a blanket thrown on top of them. No wardrobe was provided either, as promised, and was carried out by hand and thrown on the truck somewhere that smelled like camphor. The move continued on, and at the end I was told I would be charged for an extra hour. I only moved a few houses down the block and had a minimal amount of items! When the employee called the office, he was told not to charge me. Since there was significant damage to my walls, I asked how it was going to be addressed. I was rudely told that it would be in his report and someone would call me. The damages were never disclosed to me by any of the movers and when I mentioned it, not even an apology was offered. It seemed to them to be not a big deal.It seems as though the employees who moved me had no prior experience. No weight belts, their pants were falling down, and they had no idea how to handle heavy and bulky items without screaming and making a scene. Again, ***** protocols were not addressed nor acknowledged. I was very dissatisfied, to say the least, with my experience and would not recommend this company to anyone.
