This is the best ambulance company in the world. They truly have all exceptional excellent employees . There on time and professional . They are reliable and gentle with my husband . The whole company and employees deserve a million dollar raise. One day it may come true they all get a real big raise. You can count on them they won’t let you down. I only give 5 stars to the people that have earned it

This company transported my kid from Penn Medical Center to CHOP. I was not involved in making any of these arrangements as it was handled By Penn Medical Center ER team. My insurance company paid them using in-network rates. Exception Medical Transportation sent me a balance bill. Still trying to understand how any of this is legal.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE WOMAN WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE CURSED & SCREAMED WHEN I INQUIRED AS TO WHY THEY DID NOT PICK UP MY MIL ON HER NORMAL SCHEDULE FOR DIALYSIS. SHE KEPT SCREAMING...SHE WAS NOT ON MY SCHEDULE. 'THEY DID NOT PUT HER ON MY LIST'. NEVER INDICATED WHO 'THEY' WERE.

Visiting my wife's parents for both thanksgiving and Christmas, as her father Jan is experiencing more health related issues. Upon both visits he has asked us if we had written a review or called Exceptional to talk about the care he received from 2 young men at the company. Their names were Carlo and Stanly and they took my father home from Princeton in October. They even taught my mother in law how to use the oxygen machine and were patient throughout the whole process. Jan said its one of his most fondest memories. He wishes them well

I have worked with this company several times without issues. Today Edward must have had a bad weekend, he was very ignorant and rude snatching papers from our secretary. He requested a disc of an X-ray she attempted to obtain it for him when no one answered we tried to explain the limited Sunday staffing he proceeded to become nastier. I told him we work here he doesn’t to which he left the unit and returned proudly with his disc threatening our secretary again with reporting to our manager. I was not present when he returned as I would have asked him to stop being an a hole and transport the patient he went the extra mile to be unkind and was far from professional. The nurse manager should get rid of this man or at least retrain him.

I worked there from 2004 to 2006. I worked with many great people and learned a lot from the EMTs and nurses there. It was my first job out of EMT school. At EMT school, I wasn't sure whether to work at a New Jersey company or Philly company. I was told New Jersey companies pay more and I lived in jersey. Exceptional hired me right away which I was grateful for. The pay was not even close to enough to support me and my family. I was told there would be a lot of overtime opportunities. There were none. Eventually, I went to Philly to see how much those companies paid. They on average paid $2 an hour more with many more opportunities for overtime. At that point, I went over to Philly to work and made a lot more money. Exceptional does provide a great service and they are very professional. They should just pay their workers more.

They over billed us for mileage we didn't use and have been fighting this bill for months. AWFUL! DON"T USE THEM. The hospital didn't give us a choice, what a nightmare. Now we are out thousands of dollars for things we didn't use or even need.

This company which consisted of a driver and his female assistant pulled directly in front of my mailbox and the front of my home when delivering a non emergency patient who happens to live next door to me. When I asked the driver not to park there he adamantly refused, ignore my request and continued about his business. His truck was now located some 50 feet further away from the pathway to the home where he needed to transport his patient and could have easily parked. Had he pulled into the neighbors driveway he would have been even closer and able to easily transport his patient within a few feet of the front door. Bottom line is he didn't have to park in front of my mailbox and totally disregard and disrespect my request not to park directly in front of my home. It appears that he was too lazy and inconvenienced to park where he should have in the first place. People who disrespect others and do what they will for their own sake need to know that it isn't okay to disregard and ignore others wishes. The "Exceptional Medical Transport" vehicle number was numer 50. Additionally I find nothing exceptionally noteworthy about this company or the lack of training and respect of thieir employees.

This company lives up to its' name. My wife is a C5 paraplegic and has had 8 hospital visits last year and 5 this year and was transported back to our home every time by Exceptional. Every employee handled her with such care and they made the transfer into her bed seem effortless. We certainly would highly recommend this company with Five Stars!!
