Still a top notch shop, Shotsie does make occasional appts, but the new owner Mick has it down. Good guy, good artist, good staff. Was probably my last ink, glad I made my way here, you should too. Mick, this is Tommy btw lol, Wayward Son.

I got my first tattoo here on my 18th birthday and the girl that I had I don't believe she works there anymore but she was rude to me telling me that if I don't calm down then I can leave. I was nervous obviously because it was my first one and I was getting it on my collarbone. She also said that one thing they don't tolerate is people who can't make up their minds so I can leave if I can't decide on a placement. Obvious red flags but I got it done anyway. The tattoo itself isn't bad there's some spots on it that are noticeably not good but all in all I was happy. I hope the owners can reflect on this and make sure that their artists are treating customers right.

My sister went to shotsie to get a nose piercing and they stabbed her septum while piercing her nostril the first time and then they pulled the needle out and tried to jam jewelry in the hole, and when they inevitably failed they did it all over again and the girl still could not do it. she was shaking the whole time while the other employees laughed at the situation and watched, her nose was dripping blood from all of this and she wanted to leave and they told her that she could not go her friend also experienced a very similar situation about at the same shop. Clearly this piercer is inexperienced and should not be stabbing people with needles if she doesn't know what she's doing.

Mick Metal is the best. He makes me feel like part of Shotsie's family. He and the staff are creative and professional. I couldn't be happier. I've finally found my tattoo heaven. I've gotten two hand tattoos and three sets of finger tattoos done there. (One lower set left to go). I will never go anywhere else. Prior tats all has issues. Zero problems at Shotie's.The name was symbolic for generations, and they are now better than ever thanks to Mick and his new wife Emily. Lauren makes me feel at home and the whole staff is pleasant and carefree. It's a good time just to stop in and see the crew.
