I had a great experience here. I’m not a girly girl so I’m usually not super comfortable in hair salons where everyone looks FABULOUS because I feel judged. I didn’t feel that way AT ALL with anyone here. Everybody was super kind and Linda did an amazing job on my hair and I got exactly what I wanted! Thank you so much!

Cut my precious hair where I said not to cut it, hid it from me, never notified me when I was there, let me pay and leave. Sent in a complaint and if I could be reprimanded and never got back to me. MaryAnn is the one who cut my hair so if you care about your hair I suggest not booking with her.

I had a fantastic experience at Public Image! The staff was friendly, the service was excellent, and I left the salon feeling fabulous! I highly recommend Faith for anyone looking for a skilled and talented hairdresser!!!

I had an awful experience here last weekend. I booked an appt for Sat morn. They emailed and texted me to confirm my appt which I did. I showed up early put a robe on and sat in a chair completely ignored for 30 min! Not one person even acknowledged I was sitting there. And they weren’t busy at all so it looked pretty weird just sitting there alone. My stylist was talking to her client and working and when she finished they were looking at their phones and then the client asked if she could curl her hair and the stylist said yes I have time and she sat back down! I don’t think the front desk even told the stylist her next appointment was there. I also told the front desk this was only my second visit there so it would make sense the stylist would not recognize me. Also reason for the receptionist to tell her I was there. I ended up walking out. My time is just as valuable as anyone else’s and now I have to go pick my child up. I made an appointment for a reason and I was there for my appointment. They then called me twice that day offering apologies and said the owner agreed to give me 20% off if I wanted to come back. What?! It should be a free appt for that lack of attention and humiliation. They expect me come back for $30 off and then I have to tip on top of that?!?! They need to remove that red carpet out front immediately because I was absolutely not given the red carpet treatment. I was looking for some self care and pampering and I was totally ignored. I DO NOT recommend this salon.

I got my hair for the first time done by faith and she was absolutely phenomenal! Did exactly what I wanted and made me nice and bright again! Hugely recommend her if you want to be a blondie!

Mirlinda is an amazing hair dresser and has never made my hair a way I wasn’t happy about. She always dyes and cuts it exactly how I show her. I have been coming to Mirlinda since I was like 5 and she is the only hair dresser my mom really trust to do all of our hair. My mom, sisters, and grandma all go to her even when my one sister lives all the way in Hoboken. She always ensures the best care for our hair.
