It’s unfortunate that my run in with Affan was so distasteful that I opted to find another provider and cancelled services here. He was very unwelcoming, unhelpful and demanding, quite honestly a bit of a brat. Please be pleasant to everyone, as you never know who is coming into your practice.

I have always been able to talk to Dr. Akhtar and get my problems resolved. He truly knows his trade, and it is evident within minutes of speaking with him. Coming here is like dealing with trusted family. Would not consider changing.

Dr. Akhtar is board-certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery, and he is on the medical staff at Robert Wood Johnson/Rahway, seeing patients for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and St. Joseph's Healthcare System in both Wayne and Paterson. He is an active member of American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, American Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and American Professional Wound Care Association.
