My experience at this bank has been very positive. My first interaction with Columbia was when I applied for a new mortgage on my home. In order to qualify for the lowest rates, I had to apply for a checking account at one of their branches. This branch was closest to my home, so I opened my account here. At the time, this bank was offering interest rates of 1% whereas my other bank was paying me 1/10 of one percent. As a result, I opened an additional checking account and moved most of my money to Columbia. I have found the tellers to be friendly and competant. The hours are decent although not as customer friendly as the hours at TD Bank. The branch has free coffee in the lobby and the desk personnel that I have dealt with have been competant and friendly. All in all, I'm very happy with this branch of Columbia Bank of NJ.

If it were possible I would give them zero stars. Barbara of the Wayne branch and Fabian of the PCTI branch are crooks and liars. I have record evidence of Barbara consenting to a refund of a fee taken out of my account and Fabian denied the request. Upon calling Barbara and Fabian again to ask why, Barbara threatened me by saying she’s going to close my account if I don’t stop calling what apologizing and hanging up After I’ve checked my account, all of my accounts were closed and And after calling back no one is able to tell me why my accounts were closed and we’re all my money went. I’ve called customer service 14 times today and have requested to speak to marketing managers and yeah it’s been a game and I’ve been transferred from person to person with no help and I am furious at Columbia Bank and their staff, this is no way to run a business let alone a bank. I promise you’ll be hearing more from you

Overall this bank is the most helpful branch in NJ. It is clean. And the employees are knowledgable about banking account offers,fees, and promotions. Joe martins the assistant manager is very helpful. The only thing is the computers seem to be down when i need it. There is also a coin machine.

Worlds worst bank. These guys took 2 hours to set up a business account where TD bank takes 10 min... also had a fraud charge on my debit card and they wouldn't dispute it. Ridiculous. I think they hire the rejects from other banks. Steer clear. I would rather pay a fee at another bank then ever come here.
