I had a very disrespectful encounter with Yessina, who claimed to be the store manager at the Men’s dept. I visited the store to exchange a jacket that I had purchased in Jan. Upon my husband trying on the jacket, we noticed loose stitches, prompting me to exchange It since the tag was still attached and it was within the return period. I was not asking for my money back! Yessina approached the register to inspect the jacket and said to me, “I almost said no to this exchange, but take this as a lesson and learn to check your merchandise when you get home.” NO-SSINA, as the store manager, it is unacceptable to speak to customers in such a manner. Please maintain professionalism in your role. This incident has brought great embarrassment to Bloomingdale’sI'm leaving a zero-star review specifically for the “store manager, Yessina”. I hope that you do not treat other customers orEmployees in the same manner you did with me.

Bad shopping experience. I was in a hurry and I went to the store just to get a bag and when I got home I realized that the saleswoman hadn't removed the theft sensor, causing me to waste my time by having to go back to the store to do the work that should have already been done. This type of situation would not be acceptable in a store in this segment.

They have better merchandise at the Short Hills location but this Bloomingdale's is still a good place to find nice home items and has a great selection of menswear.

The least desirable workplace to consider would be characterized by an air of haughtiness among the management team, leaving one with the distinct impression of being scrutinized upon every encounter. Additionally, it is evident that employees are engaged in fierce competition, driven solely by monetary motivations when interacting with customers. Regrettably, workplace disagreements are aired publicly, !!!! creating an atmosphere rife with toxicity. !!! In conclusion, I would strongly discourage anyone from seeking employment in such an environment.

On July 27th I went to the Fine Jewelry department to look at rings for my fiance. The moment I finished looking at the ring, the Loss Prevention called the associate on the phone at the watch section. Really? You couldn't wait? Thanks for the welcome experience. Maybe they thought the ring would get tangled in my dreadlocks.

idk why i thought bloomingdale's was for like laypeople but i guess they're a high-end department store? i don't be knowing about that stuff. anyway this was a good place to get some fancy shoes for prom (from the clearance section ofc). the woman that helped us in the shoe section was very nice and professional
