Super friendly retired vet door greeter. He told me the wrong aisle for light bulbs but was so nice I don't even care. Ended up getting help from two other associates both very friendly. Got in and out with all the items on my list. It's a toy store for adults and DIYers. I approve!

I typically come here once in a while, cashiers and customer service has always been helpful in the past. Unfortunately, there is a nasty customer service returns employee that should be terminated as her behavior today was atrocious.I made an online order for pickup early around 1am. My order wasn't ready, so I contacted customer service told it'll be ready soon I should head over, then I called the store, I didn't get her name however I was left on hold in an excess of 10 minutes. During that time my partner got to the store to pick up the order and advised me I should cancel as he will just purchase the items since they aren't ready. Since he left his wallet home and was just going to pick up, he grabbed the items off the shelf and said is it possible that I can just collect these items under my paid pickup order. While online he observed the male customer service agent in the middle register walk away then walk over to the phone of the nasty employee with the black braids and large Prada glasses' phone and she became irate. She yelled at her colleague don't touch my phone get your own phone!!. He then tried to get the phone and had to walk off because of her atrocious behavior. My partner then got to her register said my girlfriend placed an order and it's not ready, can I just complete the order here and go? She said YEA! I just have to pull up your order. and The woman looked down at the items in his hand and said " oh your girlfriend is the one who hung up on me ". Then then sat there tapping at the computer which froze and she said I'm trying to get the order from my phone to the computer. My partner then asked if he can just take the parts and leave as they're paid for and he picked them himself, she then got nasty and said no sir that's now how this works here. At this point another customer service person comes over and says can I give you a hand? Her response was no I got this while rolling her eyes. My partner asked this possible senior customer service person if he could leave with the items to be told absolutely sir I can email this to you once we get it clarified. It was apparent this nasty employee was intentionally trying to be unhelpful as she thought she was hung up on and unwilling to be helpful in this situation. She's disgusting to her colleagues as well as patrons and should be terminated. The incident in questions occurred between 1050 am and 11 am, Sunday October 29th Thank you to the senior customer service representative that was helpful in this situation, it must be difficult to work with such a rude employee.

Had a good selection of well maintained tools in stock. Tool worked well and return was simple.

Hands down the rudest manager I have ever encountered. Zero help. Very dismissive. Threw it back to the cashier to deal with.

I have been trying to contact someone at this store regarding a tool rental to see if they have what I need before I drive all the way there.. I’ve now been on the phone for over 40 minutes the phone is just ringing and ringing with no one picking up. I hung up called tool rental directly, 25 minutes just ringing and ringing. Hung up called customer service same thing just ringing for 15 minutes. Called paint, 15 minutes just ringing. Called appliances, same thing... This must be a joke your telling me that after 40 minutes no one can pick up the phone and at least tell me to hold or something.. The employees have to hear the phone ringing , I wasn’t on a hold prompt it connected me directly every time and the line was ringing... As a contractor I’ve been on line at Home Depot a million times when the phone rings and the employee picks up and either transfers the person to the correct department or puts them on hold until they are free to help them, so I know the phone rings directly to customer service desk which means they just didn’t care to answer.. For a customer to be on the phone for 40 minutes with no one answering and calling multiple departments is unacceptable.. There is no quality control in these big franchises, they don’t give a crap about the customers. It all starts with the store manager not caring what their employees do, just coming to work to collect a paycheck.. the manager of this store should be fired...

I have no choice but to love The Home Depot because I'm there several times a week looking for ways to improve my indoor as well as outdoor living space. If I can't find it in the store, I can usually find it in online. I will say the culture of Home Depot has changed over the years, the workers aren't as eager to Voluntarily offer assistance, I do miss that because this store can be quite intimidating to some (like myself @ times). If you inquire assistance the people are usually pretty friendly. In terms of pricing I think they're pretty reasonably priced in comparison to their competitor, which I also patronize quite often; but since Home Depot is right around the corner from me, it's one of my most visited spots. Best of all, the lines are never to long, the staff will move you along very quickly. All I can say about Home Depot is, "What's not to love?"

How is it possible for a company to profit $47 BILLION DOLLARS in 2020 and they take back vacation pay after an employee has given them five years plus ten years with Interline, a company Home Depot took over? They only give .50 cent to $1.00 raises to 10-15 year employees. They too need to be investigated.Home Depot's competition profited $4.7 billion dollars, yes, 4 point seven billion, and their union employees are striking over a 1% raise. Home Depot is a slave camp. If all the employees would strike without a union simultaneously , Home depot would collapse. Stop allowing companies to profit $47 Billion and then slap your employees in the face.

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

This Home Depot is large enough to have what you need, but buyer beware. Because it's large, a lot of local DIYers and Contractors frequent the store, and the quality control suffers as a result. In coming to this location over the last year, I've encountered well-used faucets, fans with missing parts, and paint that is colored but returned in a white paint bucket, just to name a few. The employees are generally pretty helpful, with a few folks in electrical that know their stuff. They do rotate employees around in departments, so I've had a few occasions where someone tells me they have no idea what they're doing in a department, even though they're the only one there (happens a lot in the paint department). If you know what you need and are willing to potentially make a return trip when your product turns out to be a re-used dud, you'll be fine at this location. If that isn't you, it might be worth a different location.

In early April I ordered a custom storm door. For two months I didn't hear from Home Depot and none of my calls were return from their mill works department. When I finally got through to someone, they told me the manufacturer was delayed. I said OK, but why wasn't I, the customer, informed about the delays? Crickets. When the door was finally received at Home Depot from the manufacture, the told me to contact the installers to arrange an installation. I said isn't that your job? Why am I now tasked with managing the project. You're suppose to contact the installers and get dates and provide them to me! Anyway, I contacted the installer and they scheduled the installation for 6/24/21 (two more weeks delay) I said OK. On 6/23/21 the installer contacted me to confirm the installation for the following day. I confirmed and took time off from work to be home. At 9:30 on the day of the installation, the installer calls me to tell that the installation crew has been stuck for almost 2 hours at another Home Depot waiting for doors for their morning installation and that because of this delay my job has to be rescheduled (two weeks later)! I cancelled the door. My neighbors had two custom storm doors and an exterior door installed by Lowe's in less than three week, not three months! The Watchung, NJ Home Depot is the worse Home Depot I've ever had to deal with. Home Depot is becoming the Walmart of home improvement stores and Lowe's is the Target of home improvement stores!

I ordered an $1,100 pergola online. It said I could not pick it up, and I would need to pay a flat rate of $80 to have it shipped. I figured I would add on some other items that I needed since I was already paying a flat rate. The delivery comes, it is short a few items, and most importantly, no pergola. They said they don't exist outside of a floor model that they won't sell and will have to refund me. Why have a floor model if nobody has it? I said I only paid the delivery fee because I was getting the pergola. They said the delivery fee was for all of the items and I will not be refunded. Okay, but I didn't get all of the items. There was no email or phone call to say I won't ever be getting the main item that even made me place this order. I would have cancelled. $80 for things I could have easily placed in a truck is insane. Horrible inventory, lack of communication, and bad customer service.
