Ellen Smith was our designer and salesperson at Ethan Allen Watchung. We asked her to help us furnish our great room, which we wanted to reorient so that we could add a large-screen television. Ellen did a fantastic job utilizing and opening up the space, taking advantage of the natural light from the adjoining room, and matching a variety of comfortable Ethan Allen pieces to the brick, stone and wood in the room. I recently purchased a two sofas from Ethan Allen in Watchung, NJ. It was s very pleasant experience since the Guardsman Insurance company was also involved! My salesperson Lizette was very professional, knowledgeable, and very focused on my special personal needs. She even came to my place to help me with my decision. Very positive experience from beginning to end. I will definitely continue to work with her on my next purchase at Ethan Allen. Thank you Lizette :)!

Purchased family room furniture at Watchung NJ store. Ellen Smith was my sales person. Very satisfied with high quality of structure and fabric. Ellen was a great help to me with selecting colors and fabrics. She made an hour long trip to my home to measure for accurate placement of furniture, Enjoying my room everyday.

We spent over 2 years searching for the perfect living room set, and after multiple visits with no luck, we met Lizette. She was patient, inviting, and truly understood our vision.
Lizette went above and beyond by visiting our home, discussing options, and creating stunning visuals to help us see the possibilities. We have absolutely loved our experience working with Lizette and Ethan Allen! We connected with Lizette who helped us every step of the way with personalized service and several meetings to bounce ideas off one another. Our family room turned out beautiful and at our first meeting to see Lizette's ideas, she knocked it out of the park that we barely made any changes to her recommendations. Everything was on time and she even came to the house to ensure delivery went smooth. After we did our family room, we went back for her help on our dining room. We love where it netted out and cannot wait for all the furniture to arrive. Will continue to use Lizette for all home furniture needs!

This was accidentally deleted as I tried to write yet another review for Ellen Smith. I previously stated she has game-changer attention to detail as demonstrated by the wonderful work she did with our sunroom. The project was designed around an organic look and feel and came out exactly as she envisioned with initial renderings. We are extremely happy and many thanks to you Ellen and Ethan Allen! As stated, I tried to write another review about the fine work she also did with our living room project. Ellen is an accomplished professional and represents the Ethan Allen brand well.

We are extremely happy with our experience with Lisa. We are renovating our Kitchen and removed a wall separating our Family Room. Not only did we need to furnish the kitchen, it needed to flow with the rest of the space. Lisa came for a home consultation. She asked thoughtful questions and quickly understood our aesthetic style and functional needs as a family with young children. The next day, she prepared a design presentation that included the elements of our old room beside the all the proposed new items. We were thrilled with the options and easily chose our new furniture and rugs. That level of care and attention is what keeps us coming back to Ethan Allen. (The quality of the fabrics and workmanship are the other reasons.)We enjoyed our process with Lisa, look forward to working together on other projects, and highly recommend her expertise!

We purchased a condo to be closer to our family. It is several hours from our primary home and we were not familiar with the area. We suddenly had a 2 bedroom condo that needed furnishings. Our starting point was knowing the style of decor we were leaning towards and our past positive experience with Ethan Allen over 20 years ago. Thankfully we found Ellen!Ellen came for a home visit and we discussed likes and dislikes and what we wished to accomplish. She listened well and asked many questions. Our next step was to meet her at the showroom where she presented a complete design plan. We knew right away that she had captured what we were looking for in our new home. She guided us through every step in selecting furniture, carpets, window treatments, accessories, and even assisted in paint color selection. She was patient and made this experience a pleasurable endeavor. We couldn't have accomplished this without her. Our final delivery was yesterday and we are thrilled. Ellen's design, execution of the process, and pleasant personality was above and beyond our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend Ellen.

We spent over $30,000 for various decorations and furniture for our home. Some shades we ordered - which cost about $2-3000 I believe - did not function properly and did not work with the design. Everything was measured and designed by their team, but it didn't fit. The shades had to be removed. We are several months out from the removal, and the company has not refunded money for the shades, offered credit, or anything. Do not do business with this company.

I desperately needed to change the fabric on my dining room chairs. With two active kids, I needed a fabric that was durable, long lasting, but still classy and elegant. I went into Ethan Allen in Watchung and was greeted by Lizette. I showed her pictures of my dining room and listened to my vision, and she immediately pulled out swatches of fabric that would suit my taste. She was very patient with me (I can be very indecisive).We narrowed it down to 5 choices, and she did a house call, so we can see the fabrics against my existing chairs before I made a decision. Again she was very patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. Lizette is fabulous! She listens to your needs and concerns, but she wasn’t afraid to show me other choices outside my vison. I would recommend her to all my family and friends. Can’t wait to work with her again on other projects!

My wife and I re-did our entire house. We were starting from scratch on every room and piece of furniture. Lizette was a dream to work with and I wish we had her design help prior to the end of the renovation. She has many recommendations and listens attentively to any concerns or questions. So far we have purchased our entire dining room set but with Lizette’s level of expertise, knowledge of products, color and fabrics we will be returning to finish all our other rooms. It was the best experience we have ever had. Thanks Lizette! See you soon!

My husband and I moved to Fanwood a year ago, and we have been endlessly searching for the perfect couch for our living room ever since. We decided to check out Ethan Allen and were paired with Lizette Louis - we were initially interested in two couches, and Lizette came to our home with swatches so we could pick out the perfect fabric/color. She was meticulous, patient, kind, and offered great design advice. She then created a 3D presentation of our living room with both couches so we could see how the couches looked in our space. We didn't love either look, so at the very last minute, we changed our minds and asked Lizette if she could show us how the Anderson Sofa would look in our space. She immediately changed everything up for us with a smile, and we fell in love with the Anderson Sofa!We were told that it would take approximately 12-16 weeks, but to our surprise, it was ready in 4 weeks (!!!). Ethan Allen's white glove delivery service was FABULOUS! We've had a ton of furniture delivered over the course of the past year from all different stores, and Ethan Allen's delivery service surpassed each and every one. The delivery team was extremely careful and mindful of our hardwood floors/new moulding, and took great care in getting the sofa in without any incident.The sofa looks great in our space and we couldn't be happier ... we plan to use Ethan Allen to furnish our dining room in the future based on the excellent experience that we had. Cannot recommend them (and Lizette) enough!
