“I had gone there the other day to switch over from a bank i’ve been using for 5-7 years to this one. i’ve heard great reviews about oceanfirst. i called and one of the tellers was able to assist me in just the general basics of what i needed to do/what to bring to make this a smooth transition. quick conversation but still very kind and professional. i got there later on in the day & everyone was super friendly. the teller i worked with for the hour was Joseph and he was great. he answered all my questions and was extremely patient. i felt that i was bothering him with all my questions but he was able to help me clearly understand that transitioning process from moving accounts to even different features the bank had to offer. he listened to my concerns and what i wanted from this bank & how i wanted to proceed. i genuinely had a great experience and everyone was personable. i appreciate the great customer service from this bank in addition to the fact that i was able to confidently walk out of that bank knowing that everything was in good hands. hands down, i would recommend anyone going to this bank!!”

“Today was my daughter's last day of school and in a ditch effort to purchase a gift for my her teacher i found myself unable to complete an important purchase because of an issues with ATM card. After several failed attempts to resolve the issues on my own I franticly called the Scotch Plains Location and had the pleasant experience of speaking with the Branch Manager Karina who took her time and a worked diligently with me to resolve the issues. The staff were very professional and took the time Even after banking hour to help me resolve my issues. both Haydee and Avelina were patient and made sure the everything was working. correctly before i left. Having a bank manager Karina tell me that the bank was closed now but advised me to still come in because she would wait for me was something I will never forget. Thanks agin Ladies for helping resolve my issues with my card. Even though i was stressed you took the time to show me that you cared and i just want t say thank you!”
“This is a great banking service to have right on the campus. There is an ATM here but perhaps only for account holders. The fees are reasonable but working hours are limited. As the parent of a student I can vouch for credit unions as providing better services than the major banks and unfortunately are not well known enough due to limited marketing budgets.”

“This was the branch that I opened my first account with Valley and people like Adrain is why I have stayed for so long. I have move and not gone to that branch for a few years now, but that doesn't stop Adrain from giving exemplary costumer service. He call me just the other day to inform me that there was a problem with my account that he noticed. Not only was I surprised to about the problem, I was equally surprised to hear from Adrain. Within minutes the problem was fixed and my mortgage was paid on time. I cant tell you how grateful I am for his competency and attention to detail. “Appointments necessary for sit down business transactions. Walk-ins for Teller counter ONLY. Needed a replacement debit card. When I arrived at the Clark branch I hadn't made an appointment but was able to make one by following the directions posted on the door. I needed to send a text with my name and wait in my vehicle untill they advised me it was okay to enter and was given the name of the representative I would be seeing. Was in and out in less than ten minutes with a replacement card. Dividers at counter/desks and masks are required.”
