I visit the USPS in Washington, NJ, twice a day for my shipments. While most of the staff, like Luis and Chari, are amazing and always greet you with a smile, there's one employee who consistently ruins my experience. The Asian woman at the counter is incredibly rude. Despite my efforts to be pleasant, saying "Good morning" and wishing her a great day when I leave, she never replies.
It's not just me—other reviews mention similar experiences. Her attitude is so off-putting that I often go to the USPS in Hackettstown just to avoid her. I don't understand her problem, but manners and respect are universal, regardless of culture. Something needs to change at this location to improve customer service.

I have had important bills at my house that have not been picked up for days. Very disappointed in the post office’s slow service.

Unfortunately I hate being specific and having to call out someone but this has been an ongoing issue at this Post Office. While everyone I've encountered at this office has been helpful and kind, the woman who's name starts with an X is the complete opposite and should not be working with the public. This needs to be addressed - I will be filing a complaint. Next time she is working the counter I will be refusing her "help".

I gave it one start as after reading the comments I see that the main issue at this location has not been addressed. The Asian lady at the counter is always rude to everyone. Looks like this issue has been going on for a very long time and unfortunately this is a service that can't always be avoided. Better customer service would be ideal.

Most employees that work at this location are great, the letter carriers are excellent. Unfortunately, one woman who works directly with the public is very unpleasant to everyone.

Asked the woman at the front desk about a package I had ordered. She rolled her eyes at me and gave me a hard time. Very rude service.She wasn’t wearing a mask either.

Wonderful service by the office staff. Place is very near to the parking lot. The display stand is full with informative and new events brochures. They are very generous in providing any assistance, whenever I asked. Always happy to visit this postal office. It is very nice.

Hopefully, this review doesn't affect other good people working on this post office.
The only thing I can say is that regardless any offensive or rude people we encounter, we do have to continue going and doing what we are doing and let God to be the judge. I'm really hoping that weather they relocate or make things work better with this Asian Woman she's rude as hell and I'm sorry I have to be specific . There's more people working there and they are awesome. I'm still waiting for some changes but everthing remains the same . I think they don't mind people's (costumers)concerned or any negative feedback.
