My family and I were on a trip to Maine. A little after 1pm, we drove into their parking lot. Distraught, I told them the problem with my car. They were so accommodating and very sweet. They kept me informed of what was happening with my car, went to work immediately on the repairs(which were a lot), and had us on the road as fast as they could. We left and made it to Maine safely. The gentleman at Monro called to make sure we had no problems on our way there. He told me to call if we ran into problems on the way home. Unfortunately, as bad luck would have it, I had to call him to see if he could send me a copy of the receipt of the work because a few hours after arriving home from vacation, I hit a deer and totaled my car. When I talked to him, he asked if my kids and I were okay. He asked about our trip and offered any other help if I needed it. I’m thankful and very grateful that there are still people that care about helping others. The car worked perfectly on the rest of our drive to and from Maine; the customer service was excellent!!!

Expensive and inefficient. Tire rotation not performed although advertised as included with all oil changes.

Monroe Auto Center was a little slow with getting that parts ordered after the deposit was taken but the team was professional and the work completed was pristine. I recommend them for their high quality workmanship.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received during my recent visit to your establishment. As a loyal customer with multiple vehicles that I trust in your care regularly, I was taken aback by the lack of willingness to honor a competitor's coupon that I presented to you.
I understand that business is business, but I believe that customer satisfaction should always be a top priority. When I mentioned that I had a coupon from a competitor for an oil change and other services at a significantly lower price, I was surprised by your immediate response requesting a printout from that competitor in order to honor the coupon.
As a combat veteran, I value honesty and integrity above all else. When someone gives me their word, I expect it to be honored without question. I felt that your reluctance to honor the competitor's coupon showed a lack of respect for me as a customer and as a person.
I went out of my way to try and obtain the necessary proof from the competitor, only to find out that they were closed on that particular day. As a result, I ended up paying almost $95 for the same service that I could have gotten for $45 less elsewhere.
I have been a longtime customer of Monroe Tire and Brakes, entrusting you with the care of my vehicles on a regular basis. However, after this experience, I am seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. I believe that as a company, you can do better in terms of ensuring customer satisfaction and going above and beyond to meet the needs of your customers.
I would appreciate a response to my concerns and some clarification on your policies and procedures regarding competitor coupons. I hope that in the future, you will make it a priority to always put the customer first and do whatever it takes to ensure their satisfaction.

I went today to get a plug put into my tire since it had a slow leak. The place was empty the guy in the front kept saying they won't patch my tire even though I asked for a plug not a patch - he kept trying to sell me a tire instead. I told him can he ask the mechanic in the back if he can do the plug, dude in the back came out with attitude and just straight up said I can't do no patch and went back to the back doing nothing. I left and went to Mavis down the road and they did it. They said that's weird those guys did that without no explanation and wanted to force a tire in me.

I will never go back there again I went in for a wheel alignment and they recommend me to get rotate my tires so my sensors got thrown off and when I went back to tell them about it, they wanted to charge me to fix it which I did not understand. Why should I have to pay for something they caused so that will be the reason why I will never go back again. Now I have to go somewhere else to get something fixed that they cost.

I showed up without an appointment at 430pm because I had a flat. They had me in and out in about an hour. Not the first time that they’ve done this for me.

I walked in for an oil change, and Ian was sitting there and talking without even looking at me. Zero eye contact or friendly energy. Seems like he was hoping I would just leave.He said I could drop my car off for 5 hours for a 15 minute Oil change and get it back by 6 PM. It is only 1 PM. And there are 0 cars in any of the bays and 0 cars in the parking lot. He said he has appointments, but not one of them are here. Why not make a quick$60 for the business. I sat outside for 15 minutes. No one even showed up ,who knows when someone came in. Why not just take a 15-minute oil change job? Really quick! Not very good business. He seemed like he did not even want to work.By not giving me eye contact and an attitude. I've been going here for years. This is the first time i've seen this guy. Never again, will I go back. Reading other reviews I can see they need new management or definitely some type of serious change. Doesn't sound like ownership mentality to me. I would be trying to make the most. Money for the business.
