The best place around. After living in major cities (Hong Kong, LA, NYC, etc) I was a bit nervous I wouldn’t find a world class stylist in the burbs. That was put to rest with my first trip to Hairmazing. Highly recommended and worth the trip if you live anywhere in North Jersey (or PA).

Finding this place was a blessing! I booked an appt originally just to get a cut and possibly talk about fixing my hair color as I just got it done a month ago at another salon and did not like the job that was done. I came in and immediately as I let my hair down at the chair, Cynthia recognized the mess on my head and we spoke about my hair history and everything. She instantly started working with me on fixing the botched color job that I was left with from the other salon, and she made sure that I would not be leaving until my hair looked good and that we were both happy with the results—which I really appreciated. I am so happy with the outcome and I’m so thankful for the time and care that she put in for me and for the health of my hair. Cynthia made sure to break down everything that she was doing and she was extremely kind and informative. I really appreciated her professional opinions and honesty with me as well. I will definitely be coming back and I’m so happy I found a place I can trust with my hair!

I've been going to Hairmazing for 3 years now. My stylist is Holly. She is the best! I always leave there very happy! Everyone there is very friendly! Love going there!

This place is absolutely amazing no pun intended I took my first trip to a salon ever in my life to get my hair cut and dyed and my stylist was informative, kind and patient with me. My hair came out wonderful the color is spread evenly through my hair and is bright and vibrant they even gave me instructions on how to take care of the color afterwords. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get their hair done.

Cynthia, the owner of Hairmazing is AMAZING!!! I cannot thank her enough for literally saving my hair!backstory - I had an appointment to refresh the current bayalage I had at Linas salon for a wedding that was in a two days. When I arrived at my appointment I expressed to my stylist I had an interest in changing my style & going back to dark (more my natural color) but was unsure because I get fairly pale in the winter & dark hair washes me out. She suggested we do blonde money pieces in the front would blend them & make them look natural. I expressed I was nervous about doing the change. She stated that if I was unhappy that I could come back in & she would fix it. I trusted her expertise & agreed to proceed. I received a full head of dark brown with two money pieces that were bleached MUCH MUCH lighter then what I previously had almost WHITE. The money pieces were the exact opposite of natural looking as she bleached my hair down to the scalp ( for over an hour) so long that my scalp started to burn. My stylist said she was going to leave for a few to grab a soda or something & asked if I needed anything then disappeared for a bit. During the entire process she checked on my hair maybe twice. When it finally came time to wash my hair she asked if I had been in the sun recently. I told her I work outside & had been out on my boat two days prior. She told me my scalp looked really irritated & that if she had known she would have applied the bleach differently. I told her, had I known that was something I needed to make her aware of I would have. I also wasn’t expecting her to bleach my hair down to the roots or directly onto my scalp as she said she would make it look natural. When the appointment was finished I thanked her for doing my hair & proceeded to the receptionist to pay the bill. To my shock I was charged $301!!! Before giving a $40 tip! The entire process took 4 hours from 3:30 - 7:30 pm. I could not believe the final charge based on the work that was done as well as the final look but I paid because I thought we’ll what else can I do I have to pay right ? After leaving I felt so unsatisfied with the overall look as well as the price. I thought since it was a big change from what I previously had maybe it would take some time to get used to. After showing my husband & sending a photo of my hair to friends & family they all agreed my hair looked horrible & I was charged way to much. Whenever I looked in the mirror all i could think was I look like cruella deville. When I woke up the next day my scalp was still on fire. I discovered multiple burns where the bleach was applied to my scalp. I was embarrassed to go to work as I work in the service industry. I was told the same thing from majority of my customers. I spent a good majority of the day crying. I reached out to my stylist & kindly expressed to her I wasn’t happy with the look, asked to come back in & fix it & asked why I was charged so much & if if anything could be done about the price. She responded with a breakdown of the charge & completely ignored that I was unhappy or if I could come back in so she could fix it. I later sent her another message asking if there would be an additional charge to fix it. She then replied it would be another $121!! In the past I have always been given a price before any service is started. this time I was not. I should have asked. This service cost me $100 more then what I previously paid for a full bayalage with the same stylist same salon. That’s when I reached out to Cynthia at hairmazing, explained the situation & she took me right in the same evening & fixed my hair!! She made me feel beautiful & like my self again. She did an AMAZING job I could never thank her enough & will be going to her from now on.Services: Haircut

I got my hair cut by Cynthia. I didn't know what to expect as I've never had my haircut in a salon but she made me feel comfortable. She was patient I'm asking what I wanted and explained what she was doing as she did it. I left with exactly what I wanted. I would definitely go back and recommend.

My aunt recommended this place and was totally worth the whole experience! Cynthia did an amazing job on my hair. I came in looking for a full color change with my hair and some styling and was very pleased with how it all came out! Cynthia taught me many things that I didn’t know about hair and I’m very appreciative of the knowledge so I can properly take care of my hair going forward. The staff was very welcoming and caring with an overall family friendly environment. Overall my experience was greater than I expected. I can’t say enough good things about this hair salon. From the atmosphere, to the cleanliness and super friendly staff, I love it there. Everyone is really nice and engaging. Cynthia has not only fixed both my daughter & my hair from previous stylist errors, she gave some great insight on hair loss and how to cope with it too. She’s super friendly, knowledgeable & really delivers on what it is you’re wanting . I trust her with our hair and kinda let her do what she thinks is best. Our hair comes out beautiful every time.
