Front desk employee is very rude. Good luck getting a doctor to call you back. We had four dogs and a cat with them. If you call with a sick animal the earliest they can see you is in 30/45 days. They make you feel they don’t need your business… they are already too busy. We joined the practice after meeting Dr Kushner at a clinic at tractor supply. He is caring but he probably has to follow the rules of the facility he works for. Very disappointed!

I am so impressed with Dr. Bob Stewart and the entire Gloucester County Animal Hospital Team. They are personable, professional, and did a great job with Ralphie's surgery, kept me informed of how it went (and what to worry about or not, and what to expect) . I highly recommend them for anyone in the area. I feel lucky to have such a top tier veterinary practice so close to home... although they'd be worth traveling for as well. Thank you for taking such great care of my sweet boy!

We sadly had to put out fur baby down recently from cancer this week. Dr. Kushner and team was extremely sympathetic and wonderful. They all went above and beyond knowing, especially knowing how difficult the situation was for us. I can't thank everyone here enough for all the love and support they showed while we had to make a difficult decision for our loved pet of 13 years. They will forever be our vet because there's no other place in Jersey like this!

I have been coming to GCAH for 5 or 6 years and the care has been awesome. On this most recent occasion, I was disappointed. I brought my cat for a follow up but could not see the first vet she visited. The vet who did her follow up did not tell me the whole story. I feel he talked me into a test that I may not have chosen except for the way her condition was presented. When the vet who originally saw her called me and was quite enthusiastic, saying she was pleased with my cat's progress. That her red blood count and platelets were up. All the first vet told me was her anemia was down a point and she may have a blood infection that would require an additional test at $115. I agreed to the test because he made her condition sound worse than when I initially took her. up, etc. I will still go there because my cats get very good care, but I will not have see this particular doctor and will make sure I get all the facts before I agree to anything.

We have been taking our pup here since we first adopted her in 2017. She was a rescue from a puppy mill and she was so scared and shook so terribly. They are all so kind and work so well with her. Last night I accidentally cut her ear while trying to trim her hair and I was beside myself. They allowed me to bring her right in because she was bleeding so much. I felt horrible and couldn’t stop crying. The staff was amazing in assuring me it was okay and she would be okay, George at the front was offering me tissues and everyone made both of us feel well cared for. Dr Trail was so kind and treated her so well and we both left feeling so much better and calmer. We will never go anywhere else and we are so very grateful.

They would't give me the heart worm Pills! They said I would need appointments before I could get them! They haven't missed a dose, I would of got a appointment after I got them but the nasty person on phone would not do it! I have been going there for about forty years! I think they're above the rest!

Doctors and staff are caring, knowledgeable and professional. The people at the front desk have been top notch, especially handling calls, questions, and curbside through the pandemic. Sadly our 13 year old dog Lulu, who has gone there from 4 months old, passed last weekend. I thank them for caring for her and one day we will be bringing our next pet to them. I highly recommend GCAH!

Had a great first couple of visits with Dr. Trail and the entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. During my last visit I brought my dog in for a wellness visit and for a possible hot spot. Dr. Kushner took care of treating the hot spot and prescribing meds. During the visit I asked for a heartworm prescription renewal that I buy online through Chewy. They performed the test and had my dog ready to go. The bill came to $245 with no itemized breakdown until after the payment was processed. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I was charged $91 plus tax for 2 medications to treat the hotspot. I went online to research the cost of the meds and they were $45 total with tax (delivery included) through Chewy.com. I instantly called the vet to ask why there was a 110% markup on the meds and that I wanted to return them since I did not give them to my dog as of yet. I understand a 20-30% markup when buying through the vet directly but not 110%! She told me she would give me a call back and speak to the doctor. I called back after waiting an hour and was placed on hold to be told I could not return the meds since they were in a pill bottle that was not sealed. Long story short, this vet seems money hungry after completing their new renovation. I know this is an issue with most vets but I will take my chances elsewhere!

Late Post: My husband and I are ecstatic with the care we received from Dr Kushner and staff. Our cat County was/looked very sick. (Hyperthyroidism). Dr Kushner was so kind, took his time with us and explained everything. My kitty looks wonderful after almost 2 months of meds. A few weeks after that we brought our Golden Retrievers Bear & Hunter in for a check up. Dr Kushner was again gentle, kind, and got on the floor with our boys. We are grateful for the care and personal attachment that Dr Kushner gives to his patients and family. Dr Kushner is an Awesome asset to your practice, thank you so much. They are the most knowledgeable animal loving people I have met . Recently we had to euthanize our two wonderful furry children and the staff helped us get through this terrible situation with their empathetic kindness. God bless these wonderful human beings. Thank you from out heart . Shirley and Vinny
