I am currently looking for a new vehicle, I thought I found one from Ron but after reading such horrendous reviews on lack of customer service to all these individuals who thought they were getting a reliable vehicle, I will not be purchasing anything from this dealer. Thanks folks for the heads up!!!!

I was shopping for a specific type of vehicle because it is a hobby of mine to restore old vehicles. I do have mechanical knowledge. That said I purchased this 2006 H3 from outside of N.J. I was told by the salesman at Ron Motors that vehicle was in very good condition. Here is what I received in my transaction. Four bald and dry rotted tires. Badly rusted frame that they spray painted over. A bad BCM body control module. A broken emergency brake. A rusted on spare tire with broken lug that holds tire in place. Torn drivers side seat. Burned out passenger side turning bulb. 4X4 control module or transfer case actuator not working. No working four wheel drive. Car would not pass inspection.
None of these repairs were covered by Ron Motors.
I have mechanical skills and was able to make all repairs but if I hadn't been mechanically inclined it would have cost me thousands of dollars to fix this vehicle just to pass inspection. If I could I'd give Ron Motors a minus -6 stars rating.
Do not purchase anything from this place without having it fully checked by your own machanic. I feel bad imagining the horrible vehicles these people must sell to unsuspecting people. Very disappointed in the salesman that spoke so nice.. but did not tell me the truth. I forgot to add that now the radiator had to be replaced. It was cracked and leaking it was sealed with auto body filler and was unrepairable... had to purchase a new one. Very disappointed with these people.

A few months ago I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe from Ron motors all cash no money owed and in less than 30 days I had a check engine light the car had no oil at all and they specifically told me that they serviced the car and that everything was up to date the car also had no breaks they referred me to a mechanic they only changed the oil and new breaks which I had to pay for all in less than 30 days it’s been about 3 months since having this car and it’s to the point where I can barely drive it I can’t even make any money with my car because the car needs repairs which cost money ever since I did business with these people my life have been nothing but headaches if I can go back in time I would have never purchased this car from them. Please stay away
The car will no longer start you basically ripped me off for almost $7000 you have the money but I have no car I came into your dealership with my wife and child and you looked us all in the eye and sold us a terrible car but don’t worry I am looking for legal help with this you will hear from my lawyer soon I promise

Bought a car from Ron while I was trying to purchasing my car a Costumer complained about how the car they just bought was having trouble. I thought maybe this is just one car. Less than a month after purchasing my car break down on the side of the road engine problems. I contact Ron he said use you warranty. He said he couldn’t inspect the car because I live out of state. The car needs at least 3,000 more to pass inspection. Overall he sells bad cars and lies to get sells. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here unless you want to pay for a car that will be in the shop. I called Ron to rectify the situation he’s interested in arguing me with me about the car he doesn't want to help. The car won’t pass inspection and Ron doesn’t feel obligated to help a customer. So I have a car in my driveway that I can’t drive with a 500 dollar payment. Take this warning (stay away)

Back again for another vehicle (bought one 4 years ago). Service is always fantastic, vehicles are always worth their asking price!
I'm sure we will be back if/when we need another vehicle again! Wouldn't go anywhere else!!

Why do some used car dealers need to be liars? I’m so glad I paid an independent mechanic to look over the 2008 Honda Accord EX-L V6 w/Navi, VIN #1HGCS22898A003363, currently listed for sale by this dealership. CarGurus reported frame damage on the car. Since no major accidents were reported on the carfax, I asked the dealership why there would be frame damage reported. The gentleman I spoke with, told me they may have seen a little rust on the frame at the auction where they bought the vehicle from. He assured me he had looked at the frame and didn’t see anything wrong with it. I told him I would like to have a mechanic look at it. He agreed and even recommended some local shops. After calling a mechanic in the area, I called the dealership back to tell them they could drop the vehicle off for an inspection. Since first speaking with the dealership, I was told this dealership does not have a garage and could not perform any repairs on the vehicles they were selling. I asked the dealership if they had a garage, just to see what the answer would be. I was told they had one and was even offered to have their mechanic put the car up on a lift to do a video inspection with me on the phone. The gentleman I was speaking with knew I was calling from out of state and could not see the vehicle in person. I declined and told him I would prefer a third party to inspect the vehicle. He seemed more than willing. Six hours later the mechanic called me to tell me the rear subframe was “completely rotten”, there had been a hole through the floor behind one of the seats and there was a problem with the brakes. The brake light is on in some of the pics in the missing. I don’t know if there was anything else wrong with the car, but I told the mechanic I had heard enough. Why, Ron Motor, would you tell me there was nothing wrong with the frame of this car? It was clearly rusted through, and based on my understanding after speaking to the mechanic, it is likely it can not be repaired. Did you hope I would not go through with an inspection by a third party? Why waste my time and money having me pay for an inspection, when you must have known the vehicle you were trying to sell to me is absolute junk? People deserve better. Attention everyone reading this: definitely avoid this vehicle. In my opinion, you should also avoid this dealership. If you decide to pursue purchasing a vehicle from here, even after reading my review, pay a few bucks to have an independent mechanic look the vehicle over. It could save you thousands and thousands of dollars and a lot of heartache.
***After initially posting this review on May 21st, Ron Motors contacted me asking me to remove it saying a review like this would really hurt his business and it was not fair. I told the gentleman it was a fair and accurate review and customers needed to be informed. He told me he would refund the cost I spent for the inspection at the third party garage. I provided him with a copy of my receipt and offered to give him my Venmo account. He then said he was going to make everything right for me and would give me a great deal on a car if I removed this review. After several requests from him to remove the review, I finally said I would if he removed the car I was interested in purchasing from his website. He removed the listing so I removed the review. I became interested in another vehicle. He said he would send it to the same third party garage to have it inspected, free of charge to me, and then get back to me. He also said he was going to replace some cosmetic items such as the leather on the armrests and replace the rear passenger seat with one found at a junkyard. He also told me he would have the car transported from his dealership to me in Maine, free of charge. Once everything was in order, he was going to get in touch with me. He hasn’t text me since May 27th. This is a very dishonest dealership and should be avoided.
