Stayed there with my parents in 1968 when I was around 13. It was owned by John and Madeline Kaweski. They lived in the house directly across the road. Great place ! Took my wife there later when I got married !! Looks like it is still the same great place !!!! !! There was a row boat at the pond at the bottom of the hill by the entrance !!

Rooms very nice. Slightly dated. The bathroom is functional but needs updating. Needs cups in the room. Bottled water a nice touch.

The pricing structure appears to be excessive, particularly considering the establishment's somewhat outdated facilities. However, the staff members are courteous and friendly, and the ambiance is serene and tranquil.

I really don't understand the "poor' reviews.... they MUST be talking about another place. Impeccably clean...comfy beds...large rooms...awesome staff...gorgeous views...AND they allow pets - what more could you ask for? They steam clean the rooms after each guest. I've stayed at 5 star hotels that weren't this clean!I honestly have NOTHING derogatory to say about The High Point Motel...and I'd recommend it to anyone!

Plumbing does not work. I heard this motel has problems with septic or something like this. Maybe pipes are frozen? In addition, it takes a long time for water to be warm. The heating is electrical. I bet it cost a fortune to heat this place up. Also, nothing to do here in the winter. It was closed for a year, then opened for a few months. Now, it was full with homeless who could not pay. Its a shame, this place so run down.

The best AT “zero day” spot anywhere!
Close to the trail.
The best staff you will find! They went way out of their way to accommodate us!
Dale & Janet are the best!

This motel is full with homeless people. Very creepy. It's also pet friendly so smell is very specific to say the least. My friend stayed there, I just visited. Electric heat in the winter. Long time to wait for warm water. Stay at your own risk.

My aunt stays here whenever she's visiting from out west. She loves the place. And it's pet friendly.
