My nails were so poorly done that I just took the entire set off by the end of the day. They were uneven, poorly shaped, and bumpy. Literally something out of a “nail art fail” subreddit. The nail tech did not listen to what I wanted (a simple acrylic set) and insisted on doing a dip that looked horrible. I paid for the full service because I was in a rush and didn’t want to make a scene but please don’t waste your money like I did.

Zen used to be my go-to nail salon. I have since found others that I like better, but the fact that Zen is open on Sundays is really a plus. So, I booked an appointment for a spa pedicure today. It was crowded when I showed up, they were clearly overbooked, and the owner of the salon did my pedicure. She's not very nice, and she's always annoyed and in a huge hurry. She was aggressive, and my spa pedicure which I paid $45 for (and of course also tipped on) was just not enjoyable. I will not go back.

My nails were all uneven, and the nail tech doing my nails was a bit aggressive and cut my nail so short to the skin connecting my nail. I had to tell her it hurt before she stopped and ripped it off. The prices are high for mediocre nails and I was switched between different nail techs throughout the process, which makes the tipping more complicated. Was not a great experience.

The worst nail salon experience I've ever had. I left with nothing I wanted and was overcharged for such a disappointing outcome. The pedicure was probably the "best" part which was still average. Then I asked for a fill in to my acrylic set. While she started my nails, she was picking at the acrylic and ripping some off without asking or confirming. Therefore I was going to be charged for removal of the set, then to add a whole new set on top of that. I was so annoyed with what she was doing, and since she already took majority of my tips off, I just told her to do a regular gel manicure because I was there for 1.5 hours now and I didn't have the time to sit there any longer for a whole new set. So, in total I was there for over 2 hours. She then transferred me to a male that watched my concerned face as she was doing my nails. I was being as polite as possible, but at the end of the day I left extremely unsatisfied with something I didn't even want in the first place. Not to mention the outcome of this costed me $68 and $15 in tips because three different people had to work with me and you can't not tip them. I am extremely upset with what happened today.

This is the third nail salon I've been to in Waldwick. It was $55 for a fill (there sign inside still says $45) and $12 for eyebrows. The man who did my fill was able to shape the nails the way I wanted them. The salon is clean and they have protocols in place for Covid. Also, they do not accept tips on credit cards.

I took my 6 year old daughter for a pedicure here back in August and they did a great job on both our nails and handling COVID restrictions. Everyone was masked up, there was social distancing in place, and temperature checks at the door. Our nails held up great and looked really nice. My heels are usually really dry and they actually made them soft for a change!

I visited this salon while staying with my aunt in a nearby medical facility; I needed both a mani/pedi and more so just a general "break" from sitting in the room, so I chose this salon based on former reviews. Upon first entering, I wasn't overly impressed by the look/cleanliness of the salon, but it also wasn't awful - just a bit haphazard. The woman who did my pedicure was great - unfortunately this is a fairly "normal" setup in which the Asian workers generally do not do pedicures and stick to finger nails primarily. When my pedicure was complete, a fairly clueless woman walked in, asking for pricing on a polish change. The woman who did my pedicure was cleaning up, and another woman had started my manicure; she had already filed and began working on the cuticles. In short, the owner had the woman leave me and work on the walk-in (I had made an appointment via phone earlier in the day, but the walk-in was in a hurry, and the owner was clearly worried about "losing her",) and I waited about five minutes for the woman who did my pedicure to finish cleaning. Was waiting five minutes a big deal? Absolutely not. It was the manner in which it was done. I didn't say anything until the end when I was paying - I asked the owner why she did what she did. Very calmly, no anger. The owner knew she did t have a good answer, and did apologize profusely, but, for what it's worth, it was clear that it was indicative of the business practices of the salon overall. Certainly not the worst I've ever been to, but I will likely not be going back.

I needed to grab the # quick and saw Yelp reviews. I was shocked at what I read. This nail salon is the best. All the employees there are friendly and they don't push conversation on you. Not that I don't like to talk but this time is me time. I feel the need to respond to the reviews that were negative. The place is always crowded depending on what time of day it is why because it is that good. Regarding the walk in she(Linda) obviously accommodated you as she does everyone even myself w/o an appointment. I am a regular. Why because not only do they do a great job they are good at what they do, have plenty of selections and the place is clean. I would highly suggest making this your nail spot

This place is subpar. I don't understand all the positive reviews. I have been there on 3 occasions and had a poor experience each time. The only reason I went there this last time was because I pulled in before I recalled how I didn't like it there and how rude the owner was.The owner speaks very sharply to the young girls that work there and treats them poorly. I walked in on a Tuesday and asked how long a wait I would have, I was assured by the rude older woman/owner that it would be only a few minutes, I wound up waiting more than 15 min. I could have easily gone to 1 of the other 7 salons in this small town, but once again I got sucked into waiting. I had a manicure without any polish and while the technician was competent, it was nothing special - a very fast hand rub and no shoulder rub. Several of the small garbage cans were overflowing, and the sink where a pedicure was preformed was, in my opinion, very poorly cleaned. I also noticed 2 technicians kept the little plastic "sterile" bags that hold the nail file and buffer. I can't help but wonder if they were planning on reusing those bags.. why else were they saving them? My 10 minute, subpar manicure without any polish, cost me $12- I can walk into nearly any other shop and get a better manicure and pay only $10. This time I will NOT be returning.
