Best vet that I’ve been been to in my 20 years as a pet parent. They are knowledgeable and really care about their patients. They squeezed in my cat for last minute major surgery which is something for which I’ll always be grateful. . Thank you Voorhes!

I took my dog for a possible ear infection….the doctor tried to look at my dogs ear and he flinched so she didn’t even attempt look at it further …she assumed it was a ear infection …gave me medicine that seemed to make the issue worse…I applied drops for 10 days as advised then noticed a black build up in my dogs ear I called the vet to let them know the issue was getting worse they said I had to bring him back for a re-check which would cost another 65 dollars plus medicine….the first visit they charged me 208.00 dollars which would be ok if she actually evaluated my dog and prescribed a treatment that worked. To have to pay another visit fee for the same issue to me is robbery. On top of the fact they charged me 75 dollars on the first visit for a test that I did not request the assistant offered it and didn’t even inform me of the cost until I got ready to pay at the end of the visit. She didn’t even clean his ear or flush it the doctor did absolutely nothing but take my money…here it is 3 weeks later and my dog is still suffering and now has hair lost around his ear from the infection. I am more than disappointed when the service provided. 208 bucks was a waste and I still have to pay for further treatment at another veterinarian.

Dr Kaplan was the most compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable veterinarian our beloved dog has ever been treated by. Our family had to make the heartbreaking decision no pet owner ever wants to be faced with. But we left feeling very reassured and comforted. The vet techs and ladies at the desk are assets to the practice as well, so kind. Also, prices were quoted to us for every option which was greatly appreciated.

Back in March my Boston Terrier was very sick. I had spent thousands on different vets and received no real answers on what was going on. When I went to animal crackers I knew my baby was dying. They told me he definitely had a mass in his stomach, which made a lot of sense. I want to thank animal crackers for taking bullet and my family in on short notice. It’s been hard losing him. I would like to thank animal crackers for their efficient, kind, compassionate Service. And I want to Thank them for the Sympathy Card they sent me.
Update 8/29/24
My Second Pet (Cat) whose name was Meow recently started changing all behaviors and would not eat. I went to Urgent Care and ran Blood test. No real answers on what was going on but liver enzymes and kidney plus iron were very very low. I have meds to try to treat with no avail. He was suffering. Laying in a stiff position head hanging. Crying and holding on to me. I called Voorhess Vet to see options on ending my beloved cats suffering at 18 plus years old. They took me in with in an hour of calling. I walked in they took me back. I met with the Dr and the Tech. They were the most compassionate and kind two women ever. Dr Elizabeth Manta, Thank you for treating my little buddy with the utmost care and respect. It’s not easy to find such compassionate care. I can not remember the Techs name (Unfortunately) but she gave me a A print of Meows ? and A glass vile of his hair. This meant more to me than they know. She was such a sweet woman. I highly recommend you visit this facility. They will not Nickel and Dime you and they will treat your pet as their own. They also did not rush me and told me to take all the time I needed. Another added bonus is this Office has a wonderful store where you can get anything you may need. And last but not least I would like to thank the receptionist I spoke to on the phone. She talked to me on the phone and assisted me in such a positive way.
You will not be disappointed if you make an appointment. 5 ⭐️

Staff was so great, they were kind and helpful and went out of their way for us. My puppy Jasmine had an ear infection with pain and the staff got her in to see the Vet the same day. Dr. Brody's exam was very thorough and her assistant Barbara was great in making money saving suggestions and taking care of Jasmine. I had difficulty putting ear drops in her ears in the past and had scheduled her for a routine bath and nail trim the following week. They were able to examine, do a cytology culture of ears in the office with immediate results, to clean her ears, put an antibiotic in her ears that would last 3 weeks, I would not need to give daily drops, and they fit her in for a bath and nail trim since she should not have a bath for 3 or 4 weeks with the medication. Thank you to Voorhees Veterinary Center they are #1 excellent plus in my book.

I have been going there since my puppy was12 weeks. She’s only five months now, but she has been given excellent care. They have shared a lot of important information with me.
The staff is excellent and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring veterinary group.

Dr. Gartland is a very caring doctor. My Ollie has had respiratory problems for all of his 14 years and Dr. Gartland has been with him every step of the way. He makes sure that I am informed of all of the alternatives for Ollie's care. I appreciate him for always taking the time to ensure that I understand the information that he provides!

We have been going to Voorhees Vet Center in Voorhees since 1986, 5 dogs later n we still continue to go for good care for our dogs!!
First, they answer there phones, weekend hours n take emergency, plus there are several vet drs on board! Plus they have grooming on the premises! We recommend this office to all who have pets?

I'm happy that the Voorhees Vet Center was able to quickly schedule a new patient appointment for my cat when he was ill recently. I had called other vets, including my usual dr, and they said they would be unable to see him as quickly as I needed. The office is well staffed with professional employees and the store has everything you need and more for your pet so you don't need to go elsewhere for prescription food or medicine. This one stop vet and store will now be my go-to for my pets' needs.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. A vet tech scruffed my kitten and held her in mid-air while she was freaking out, Dr. Hanan and Dr. Kaplan grossly misdiagnosed issues with both of my cats (all while questioning my integrity as a pet owner), and when these instances were brought up - upper management refused to give me a call back. The best thing they did was send my cats’ records over so I could get them established at a new center.

My dog had an Aural haematomas.. my vet that I’ve been going to for over 20 years told me they couldn’t see her for 3 weeks and it wasn’t urgent. My sister in law recommended them and they fit her in that same day! They were amazing, so compassionate and took their time explaining everything! I am now in the process of getting my vet records transferred over to them! Thank you so much to the entire staff and Doctor Gartland!!!
