My mom has put in 6 dogs now to adopt she is constantly being turned down, I think it's because of her age. I'm going to take this further.

I adopted my cat Lexi from them and she was so well taken care of. I was very impressed with the facility so clean and organized. When I took her to the vet, they said all of her shots were 100% and she is in perfect health. Thank you for doing such a great job! Highly recommend this place

Everyone was really friendly as soon as we entered. The volunteers in the cat room asked what we were looking for and immediately made great suggestions. They have a room to meet the cats outside their crates and we had time with the sweetest kitties to help find a perfect match. Everyone there clearly knows and cares very much for the animals. The have a good application vetting process with reasonable adoption fees, and sent us home with everything we need to make our new baby safe and comfy.

Clean facility. Good staff. BUT the application process can be frustrating and they do not have the common courtesy to call or inform you if you are not selected.

adopted my cat here. had her spayed. 6 years later lost cat. checked with them four times, left posters at front desk. after 3 weeks, visited. they again said, "no", we haven't seen her. I asked to check their cages. they said, "ok". she was in their adoption cages ready to be adopted. they were charging $30 extra because they claimed they spayed her (she was already spayed). they made me pay the adoption fee to get her out. all true.

The staff is so loving and caring. They really care about the animals and only want the best for them. A great place to find a wonderful fur baby to give a forever home to ? Rescuse a rescue and they will rescue you too(:

Very helpful staff and volunteers there. They had a large selection of dogs there. To adopt you need to fill out an online application and there is a $5.00 donation fee to fill out the application.

My puppy got out of the gate and was taken to this place. It wasn't the place it was the one girl on the left-hand side of the desk for me. She was RUDE! My puppy's pictures was on their Facebook page. When arrive there to get my baby. I expressed that my puppy is a Shih Tzu her picture was on your Facebook page and I was messaging someone back and forth about her. She stated that doesn't look like a Shih Tzu dog we have back there. I said, "Well if it's the one in the picture this is my dog, can I go see?" She in a nasty tone then tells me "I'm not taking you back there because it's not that dog. You're going to have to wait until my manager comes." Ma'am, there has to be someone else that can take me back there. I have to go back to work. Not only that if it's my dog you can see by her reaction when she sees me." Nothing else was said (no communication backturned not even facing me now). I asked again can you please find someone else who can take me back there. A gentleman came up about 5 minutes later. We walked back there and it was my dog. No, I'm sorry, No, I'm so happy she was yours. NOTHING!! When I walked in she was the one to assist me. 1st impressions to me are everything. I was already shaken about my fur baby missing. Kindness is free. That's it, nothing less. I would have given a 5-star just how the rest of the staff treated me and to see my fur baby was safe. But she treated me like I was nothing No Compassion

I have been to MANY adoption centers and refuges in the last two weeks. Voorhees animal refuge is by Far the most friendly and professional that I have been too. The two ladies in the cat room were an absolute dream (sorry I don’t know their names!) thank you so much for your hospitality and warmth. Frick and frack are so loved already

Mean nasty people with mean, vicious dogs. The staff is rude and doesn't want to help. And the animals are dangerous. Animal Welfare should be notified
