I lived here for four years. If not for work transferring me else where I would have renewed for a fifth year lease. The location was perfect, quiet, and full of friendly neighbors and staff. The office staff was always great to work with and talk too as they were always very professional. The maintenance team was always quick, timely, and courteous as well. They had the most professional maintenance staff I had ever experienced at a large apt complex. I would recommend the village to anyone. If I ever return to NJ, I would definitely look to reside at the village again.

Ew ew ew ew!!!! There are so many pests in this apartment complex! Rats and roaches. Please save yourself and do not sign a lease here. Management won’t do anything about the pests and charge you for fake fees when you move out. We had electrical issues that maintenance couldn’t fix after 7 times of coming out so totally useless. I CANT STRESS IT ENOUGH GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN.

I received a lease renewal for March in January and the rent was raised by $110, however, state law states there must be a 90-day notice, didn't get that. I don't agree that this place is worth $1490; carpet is old, window dressings are old, the dishwasher doesn't clean dishes very well, and the dryer-I have to double the amount of time to dry them. I can sit on my couch with the slider to the balcony closed and can see the screws in the door frame, with the slider closed (the slider doors are not hung level) and the weatherstripping on the front door is coming off!!!!! There is trash all up and down the stream on both sides, and in some places along the walking path there is not enough lighting. The old waste management receptables were replaced but the recyclable container is LOCKED so you can not place large items in the recyclable. The other thing is for them to pass the buck regarding the "package room" stating that USPS requires them to have the room, not possible. The package room code you get never works so then you have to come back to get said package and then they are upset with you because you bothered them, still not worth $1490 a month. There is no wow factor or umph factor here.

I recently toured a unit here because I was highly interested in what they had to offer from their website and let's just say I sent in an application the following day! Moving from PA to NJ prices are definitely an adjustment, but that is to be expected. I think that with these apartment you are paying for exactly what you receive! Most places I looked at prior to touring here wanted more money and they did not offer half of the amenities The Village had! This place was perfect for my needs as a soon to be graduate student looking to live alone. The process to apply was SEAMLESS and EASY TO UNDERSTAND! Holly was such a queen and so wonderful to work with and she had no problem with me calling regarding any questions I had. I wish I could remember the name of who gave me my tour, but she was super sweet and relatable as she used to live in PA and understood the transition to move to a new state. Overall, I was very satisfied with my interactions with the staff and I am very excited to begin living here starting in July!

Rafael with maintenance is a great, funny, down to earth guy. The service was requested after 9am. We were outside and asked if we should let him into our place, then he let is know he was here for another apartment. After he was done, he knocked on our door to see if he could help. He took time out of his packed day to help us! Could not ask for more.

I had the pleasure of working with Julia at the Village for leasing! She is absolutely incredible. She greets you with a contagious smile, positive energy, and a sense of humor that had me laughing during the entire process. On top of all of that, her attention to detail and professionalism blew me away. 10/10, I can’t recommend Julia or the Village enough!!

My girlfriend has lived here for the last two years and I’m so impressed by this apartment complex. The staff at the village were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The maintenance staff is so quick and thorough. The office at the village provided us with a warm and hospitable experience. We enjoy all the amenities at the village. They are top-notch and truly enhance the living experience. We are excited to see the new area they are upgrading. Couldn’t ask for a better place to live. Thank you Julia for all your help!

I had such a nice experience in the office at the village. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I also noticed all the awesome new amenities and upgrades they have done to the property. I’m moving from out of state and they have been so helpful and everything has gone so smoothly . I can’t wait to move to the village !

I'm a first year resident physician at Jefferson, NJ, as someone who needs to travel to Virtua Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Jefferson Washington, and Jefferson Cherry Hill hospital, this is the ideal location which is dead center of these locations making it an excellent location for work. The medical school, where we often have lectures, is only 5 minutes away.
There is a Walmart, 2 gyms, Target, plenty of places to eat within 5 minutes of driving distance from the apartments.
I also want to say the office staff are incredible, specifically Kimberly Driscoll. She has went above and beyond for me many times and set me up with an apartment that I requested to be on the top floor. Not only that, any time I have a maintenance request (plumbing, extermination services), they are here the next day or same week to fix the issue.
The apartments could use some work with insulation and renovations but they are constantly doing updates, my deck was rebuilt during my current lease and compared to the pricing of the options adjacent, this place is the same price if not cheaper.

First moved in here for a 1 bd and loved it. Everything was new and modern. We love that there’s a dog park since our dog enjoys playing and running around grass, however, its been closed with no updates. Maintenance are quick whenever request for some service. We upgraded to a 2bd but I feel like it’s more outdated than the 1bd. Paint on the wall is old (had a scratch and cracks of painting), the breakfast bar also has scratches, our towel rack in the bathroom is broken since we moved in, our dryer is an older model and smaller than our old 1bd unit.
I do, however, enjoy the community. All of our neighbors have been super nice and have never had an issue with anyone. It’s close to many restaurants and groceries. There are a lot of stray cats and I hope management will be able to help at least TNR the cats so they won’t multiply.

This complex is a joke. Called Saturday night due to mice in my apartment and an opening in my closet. Maintenance did not come until Monday, sealed the closet opening and said they don’t handle pest, they will call pest control. It’s now Wednesday and no follow up from the complex or maintenance. Called the complex, expressed my concerns and asking for an update and the lady from leasing office says pest control comes Thursdays, and she doesn't know what time.. No sense of urgency, poor customer service.

This apartment complex is disgusting. The fact that they use smoke and mirrors to make their apartments look good and up to date is a joke. “Live modern” is their slogan, and it’s anything but modern. They do pointless construction to the outside of the property, such as sealing the parking lots, new side walls and siding (that literally had no issues) to make their apartments appear to be very nice from the outside, but once you’re inside, it’s just the opposite. Washers and dryers are 15+ years old, mine was specifically 18 years old. The dryer also doesn’t vent out, so it’s comical that they have the vent exhaust covers in the outside of the buildings and a vent in the bathroom, all it does is spin a fan and rotate all of your humidity in your bathroom, causing mold and mildew build up, bubbling and cracking paint on the walls and ceilings. They use all cheap products for any repair. They moved my family in with used and worn away carpets. After arguing for months, they said they would replace the carpet which was a nightmare. The carpet company they use half ass’s the job and use carpet they’ve already cut for another apartment, just piecing it together rather than a brand new roll of carpet. After installing the “new” carpet, they had to come back 3 times within 1 month to make repairs to it. Carpet wasn’t stapled or glued down the correct way, it was coming up in multiple spots after they “fixed” it 3 different times. I couldn’t vacuum my floors without more carpet ripping. The air conditioner/ heating units are disgusting and full with mold and mildew, I had both of my units replaced 2 times each. There was mold growing in my child’s closet, and my neighbors unit was leaking into my apartment for a year, which eventually started to leak into my apartment. I had them come treat for bugs/flies/gnats multiple times, but the pest control guy doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing. A little spray and some traps is all they did, when I tried to explain that the pipes from the sink and dishwasher were disgusting, which is where they lay their eggs. I had to hand my own fly traps because of their incompetence. Bathtub faucet broke multiple times and shot out and hit my child when I turned the water on to give them a bath, Xfinity had to rewire my entire building due to all deal coax lines, my building, building 1600 flooded every time it rained. You had to walk through a foot was water to either leave or enter your apartment, sliding glass door wheels broke and the maintenance guy literally ignored the broken frame, put a new wheel on and put it back, which it immediately stopped working again since the frame was broken where the wheels are installed, there was a hole in the corner of my floor and wall to the outside. You could see light come right through, kitchen cabinets were old and warped when we moved in, also peeling, which you could tell it was just cheap cabinets. Not one appliance was “energy efficient”. If you want to dry your clothes, you have to leave the bathroom door open to expel all the moisture, unless you like running a dryer 3 cycles. My electric bill was astronomical, over $400 a month. The master bedroom AC/heat unit that is also connected to the 2ed bedroom didn’t have a vent to the 2es bedroom, for a year I was just blowing heat and AC into the walls, wondering why my kids room wasn’t getting cool or hot.Rent is constantly raised, but they never update or upgrade your unit. They use cheap, bottom of the barrel products and appliances. The maintenance team is extremely unprofessional, making derogatory remarks about women not being able to do anything a man can, or they just lack any knowledge of repairing something the correct way.Anytime you try to hold them accountable for poor maintenance, they would come up with excuses and try to make you feel that you were the one doing something wrong. Any response seemed like it was scripted and would work around an actual answer or solution.Don’t move your family here. You will 100% regret it.

I’ll start off by saying the layout for the apartment we were placed in and the model layout were nothing alike. We were immediately disappointed when we moved in. The linen closet is just a tiny closet in the master bedroom and the washer and dryer were stuffed in the bathroom right in front of the toilet. The apartment was so small we had no space to store anything.Maintenance is great. Always polite and came within 24 hours. The park is nice and was perfect for my child. The office ladies were always nice. But the apartment was small and not worth the price in my opinion. Always ants and we cleaned! Spiders and flys. So annoying. But it’s safe and the neighbors were nice.Rent increased $100 which is insane. The last complex I lived in, the rent increase didn’t exceed $100 combined for the 4 years I was there. They don’t charge a deposit so they can bill you a ridiculous amount when you move out. The walls are a matte paint that easily stain. If you lay your head on the wall while in bed, it will stain. We had to use spray to get rid of ants and the spray stained the walls. Be careful because I feel the paint they use is just a money grab being that it stains so easy. They charged over $600 when we moved out because they had to paint over stains. Stains were more than likely from bug spray from the ant infested apartment.
