Below was a review I wrote previously. I now understand why RiteAid is closing many of its storefronts because this pharmacy went from being one of the best around to one of the absolute worst. The pharmacist, Anna, who was so competent, has left. They now have people who are apathetic and uninvolved; disinterested in providing for customers. They arbitrarily closed the drive-thru. My husband witnessed several people approaching the register to pick up medications that they had been told were ready via text - only to be told the Rx's were not ready. My husband had been waiting for his medication, visited the pharmacy a week ago to inquire about his medication and because he was picking up a prescription for me - asked the pharmacist where his medication was. He was told it was on order and that they would. give him what they had which was 1/3 or what was prescribed. When he asked if he would receive a text to alert him to the arrival of the remainder of the medication he was told no - that he'd have to begin again from square one. The company has destroyed an absolute gem and again, I anticipate that this pharmacy will be closing too, because when you treat customers like this - you don't stay in business. A complete and utter disappointment. The sad part is - I don't get the sense that the employees and perhaps the company itself, could care less.
If it's possible to love a pharmacy - I love this pharmacy! Their pharmacist (Anna) combines professionalism with hometown familiarity with her clients. My husband and I get all of our vaccinations there. The store is clean, access to immunizations is easy and this pharmacy is just such an asset to the community!

No wonder Rite Aid is shutting down stores all over the place. Some people have medication that can not be delayed because your inventory is depleted. Maybe you ought to plan ahead because my prescription is same month after month. If my prescription isn’t ready on day of I should be notified days in advance so I can check elsewhere instead of telling me the day of that I have to wait. I can’t wait because of the type of meds you morons. Been loyal to Rite Aid for 20+ years, family member was a pharmacist with rite aid since they bought Eckerd (yes Eckerd) and treated them bad enough for years to make them leave. Your whole thing is just going down the drain. Time to leave and Better start prepping employees to switch companies too

I recently visited my local pharmacy to pick up a prescription, and my experience was highly disappointing. Upon arrival, I was informed that my prescription was not ready. When I expressed my concern and asked when it would be available, the pharmacist responded with an alarming lack of empathy, stating that he didn't care if my prescription was ready or not.
This dismissive attitude was not only unprofessional but also distressing, especially given the importance of timely medication. Patients rely on pharmacies for both the accuracy of their prescriptions and the support of knowledgeable, caring professionals. Unfortunately, my experience here fell far short of those expectations.
The pharmacy's indifference to customer needs is unacceptable, and it underscores a serious issue in their customer service approach. I hope the management addresses this attitude problem and emphasizes the importance of compassion and responsibility in handling patients' medications. Until then, I cannot recommend this pharmacy to others seeking reliable and considerate service.

The RiteAid store 01596 is a friendly store. Staff are nice and store is clean. I have Rite Aid two blocks away from my house but take the drive to this store because I enjoy being at store 01596 and enjoy the friendliness of the staff. If I may suggest to the higher ups in Rite Aid…Walgreens has that camera barcode thing at the bottom of the receipt to direct us to the survey link faster than having to type this long survey number. Just saying. ?

Subject: Concern Regarding Employee political Representation at Rite Aid, Voorhees NJ
As a long-term customer of Rite Aid for over a decade, I was disconcerted today when I noticed an employee at the Centennial Avenue pharmacy in Voorhees, NJ wearing a Palestinian flag while serving customers. I’m concerned about whether Rite Aid is officially taking a stance in support of Palestine ( and Hamas crime) against Israel in the conflict without considering the sensitivity and potential implications surrounding such representations.
Could you please clarify Rite Aid’s official stance or policies regarding employee expression of political beliefs or affiliations while on duty? I value the neutrality and inclusivity that businesses like Rite Aid typically maintain and hope to better understand the company’s position in this matter.

We've had to come here ever since the location on RT 73 was closed. We have to wait all day for prescriptions now even for antibiotics that we need ASAP and they don't text us when medication is ready either. I have to call and deal with a very long menu and sometimes never get anyone on the phone. The drivethru is "broken" as well. Will be looking for another location because this one is not managed well.

The pharmacy is always understaffed. Sometimes I have to wait a week or more for my prescriptions.

Long lines to pick up medications. Prescriptions are never filled on time and they're extremely slow in following through letting you know when they do fill them
