Always find stuff I didn't know I needed here , excellent source of cheaper usually hard to find tools but with an actual really great warranty..I'd buy stuff here long before I ever stepped in a snap on truck.

My husband sent me to harbor freight while he was at work to get him a tool he needed. He gave me his debit card and sent me a picture of what he wanted. I went to harbor freight to get it and it was sold out. The gentleman working there said I could buy each piece individually since the three pack was sold out. I texted my husband and lingered around waiting for a response. I thought I'd found the tool (3 pack) on the home Depot website so I go to the other side of town to home Depot but it's not the right set either. So I go back to harbor freight and I ask SEVERAL employees the difference in attachments and which one would be best for the job we are doing ( since I hadn't heard back from my husband yet) NONE of them could tell me, in fact ALL of them said both with work for the job ( which in fact they wouldn't, I later learned from my husband that they were for two different pieces of equipment.) Since nobody could give me a straight answer I bought both, before I did I asked the woman at the register if she knew the difference, she did not. So I asked about the return policy , she assured me I could return one later. I purchase both attachments with my husband's debit card he sent me with. He gets done work , chooses the one he needs. While he is busy working on the project at our home I go back to harbor freight to return the wrong attachment. When I get there I'm pulled aside and made to wait for, I'm guessing the manager. The lady comes up, stares at me for a short while before offering me help and with a huge attitude tell me she got "a call about my specific purchase earlier in the day. Which confused me , you got a call for my $27 purchase ?? What ? Why? She proceeds to tell me I can't return the attachment without the card it was purchased on, I produce the card. She gives me a dirty look and asks for my ID, I hand it to her and she tells me I need the id that matches the card. I'm like " for a return, to the card !? " she then tell me policy is to return it for store credit. I explained to her I asked several employees for help before I even made the purchase and no one could help me that's why I was forced to purchase both. I also explained the conversation I had with the cashier earlier in the day who guaranteed me I could return the product at a later time. She never asked for an ID when I made the purchase which would have made more sense. The manager lady proceeded to tell me " well I wasn't here earlier, that's why I got the call" , which again confused me. She never let me return the part, was extremely rude and unprofessional, and on top of everything made me feel like I was in the wrong when it was her and her staff that were completely misinformed and unhelpful. I tried to call head quarters to file a complaint and they hung up on me.
I'd suggest not going to harbor freight , it's not worth the headache.
Update: the employee who treated me so unprofessionally is named Lynn , avoid her at all costs lol

Best harbor freight store, hands down. The people at this store are very helpful. Most of them will try to assist you. The manager they have has done a great job since she's been there to change everything. Big difference.

Always an awesome selection for cheap. Granted most of it is as cheap as it cost but for one time jobs they are great and some of the items are incredible for the price. Definitely always recommending this place to my friends and acquaintances

Ok so let's remember, I am a chick with very little knowledge of tools, reviewing this tool and equipment retailer. But I will say this: whenever I have gone into this establishment with my cousin or a friend, I always found what I needed. What I really wanted to touch on was their awesome clearance markdowns. I purchased a machete at $5.37, A bug zapper tennis racket looking thing at 6 bucks, a 35 piece Icon locking flex head ratchet and bit set at $39.99, etc. You can look up their coupons online OR have them sent to your email by signing up. Staff is ALWAYS helpful by addressing you as soon as you walk in or assisting you if you need their help looking for a particular item. Check out harbor freight in Vineland on park Ave near Forman Mills and Super Wawa.
