The people that work here are so nice , patient and helpful. However, the parking is the worst. Not sure why the cafe next store is still allowed to block off two spots for pick up. Its a county road I wonder how that is ok? I'm sure the dog groomer would love her own blocked off spots for drop off and pick up too. Covid is still here but the pick up panic is over.

Great people work at the Verona location. Every single person I've met behind the counter is helpful, friendly and courteous. Other than the loud banging door, it's a positive and easy experience. They're patient which is appreciated in this day and age.

This review is due to 1 post office Delivery person, I'm sorry to even put it up, as the Post office itself & employees working in it are Very hard working & polite. This rating is Long overdue though. My Female Post Officer is Either Extremely Lazy, Hates her Job or whatever, but she's making HER Problem OUR Problem! Delivering mail into the wrong CLEARLY LABELLED Mailboxes, claiming to attempt deliveries and leaving a notification that she COULDN'T LEAVE A PACKAGE , AS THERE WAS NO SECURE LOCATION.Meanwhile, if She DIDN'T Fill My Mailbox with 80% of My Neighbor's mail, there would have been plenty of room to leave MY Package! This ISN'T the 1st or 2nd time. In Addition, our mail comes at 5-6p the EARLIEST during the week & on Saturday, it's ANYBODY'S - Guess! Again, it's ALWAYS a Guess as to how much of the mail in MY Mailbox belongs to Myself & My Wife,& how much of OUR Mail is missing! It's Ridiculous, and an Unnecessary frustration due to 1 Persons' Laziness, or them hating theif job.

This review is for the Postal Service delivering to Verona/Montclair Area in general. I have no problem with my regular mail carrier - it is the temporary staff I have the problem with (as does MANY others in my area). I have found my mail scattered on my yard, once soaking wet where the carrier could not be bothered walking up 5 steps and putting in the mail box. When I contacted the sorting office the carrier made the excuse "she has a dog and her door was open" !! Total lie, I DO NOT have a dog and wouldn't leave my door open even if I did....stupid excuse for her laziness - in the past 10 days my cards which I left for pick up were not taken - making my cards late for the occasion !! Ironic part is, I have the bar code they are supposed to swipe in my mail box !!!! Go figure ! Worse postal service in NJ I am sure, as I say, many, many people feel the same way. Time something was done about these inconsiderate, lazy postal workers.....having said that there is one temporary carrier, a young woman, who is extremely pleasant and efficient. I may add the staff at the Verona Post Office are very pleasant and professional, wish all the USPS were the same.

I've been a Verona resident for 50+ years and the Verona Post Office is the most charming and friendly Post Office I've ever visited. They go out of their way to explain all options and help save shipping costs, they respect the line and keep things moving and the convenience of having a live local post office with easy parking and access speaks for itself.

Last Saturday I made my first eBay sale and shipped the package that morning via 2-day Priority Mail. I got a tracking number and everything. The package should have reached the buyer by Monday, but instead I receive it at my front door on Thursday with a sticker that reads Returned for Postage and not a single bar code attached to the box. How did this giant package slip through the cracks??? Now I have to deal with a disappointed customer and a poor reputation.

Very friendly people, road side parking on either side or municipal parking one block away and queues moves fast if any. I find it very helpful to be around smiling faces if you are not much used to mailing and kind of mail service to use.
