I've been a customer since 2015. Since September 2022, I've been unable to pay my bill or reach anyone by phone. I suspect that this business is no longer in operation and unfortunately, I cannot access my property from their storage pods in Verona , NY. I have filed a formal complaint with the New York and New Jersey's Attorney Generals' offices. This has been a harrowing experience

Do not go here. The website says weather proof unit. It's not. It's a scam. I lost $5,649 (bed frame, drawers, lamp, rug, sweaters, mattress and mirror) in items from mold, moisture and bugs. The unit was infested with carpet beetles that bit holes into a lot of my things. Refer to photos. There was a huge whole in the side of the storage unit. The owner said I didn't have to pay a part of my balance. That's it. It's such poor business. Why store things to have them get ruined.

Overall, my wife and I were pleased with the service provided by DUS. We ended up having to move out of our apartment and put our stuff in a unit on rather short notice as we were going to be quarantining in the back home in the midwest. DUS made it easy by bringing the unit to our place (good sized units as well) and even helped us load some of the heavy stuff (we didnt pay for the moving service as we had friends helping, but it was nice of them to help on the few items that were rather large). Over the next 8 months or so, it was nice that we knew we could access the unit if needed, and the rates are pretty affordable compared to anything else in the city. When we no longer needed the unit as we were back in the city and had moved, they brought our stuff back to us and everything seemed to be in great shape. They had some issues with a forklift that made the driver later than we had hoped, but we appreciated the fact that they got it fixed asap and prioritize bringing our stuff to us no matter the time of night. Great service and for sure recommend if you are looking for an affordable and reliable solution!

My experience with DriveUp Storage has been without a doubt the best I could have hoped for. I have stored with DriveUp Storage since 2014 and just recently moved out of my storage container. It has been almost 6 years, so I was not sure what to expect when I opened my container, but everything inside was in great condition. The customer service was always pleasant to deal with and made the process simple. I am surprised there are not more services like this.

This looked like the best deal ever but BEWARE. They were cheaper than everyone else.... Their customer service on the way in was awesome.

This looked like the best deal ever but BEWARE. They were cheaper than everyone else.... Their customer service on the way in was awesome. The hitch came when our stuff came out of storage. There was black mold on our dining room chairs and on some of our other furniture. Clearly, there had been a leak in the storage unit. By our estimates, $2,300 worth of our stuff was damaged beyond safe use. The management kept telling us we could just clean the mold off and use the stuff anyway. We asked them give us the replacement cost for our stuff but they told us since we had declined the supplemental insurance coverage, they did not owe us anything. When we pushed, noting that their website specifically says their units are "weatherproof", they offered us $346. We rejected that offer and asked them again to give us the replacement value since our stuff had clearly been damaged while under their care, they refused and ultimately gave us only $346. So, after paying them more than $4,000 to store our stuff for a year, they would not pay to replace the stuff that got ruined when their unit leaked. So, while they are very responsive and seem like very nice people, I would advise you to store your stuff with them at your own risk --it may or may not come back to you ruined and if it does get ruined, sadly, you cannot count on them to make it right. #disappointed #seemedlikeagreatideaforbusinessbut.....

I strongly recommend DriveUp Storage. I had to move from New York to Montreal but didn't have the time to take care of my furnitures. My only option was to store them for about two months. From all the storage services available, they seemed to me my best option and I have absolutely no regrets with my choice: 1) the cheapest I found, 2) Very convenient (not having to load/unload multiple times saves time and is safer if you're worried of damage), 3) all the staff, including the driver, were very friendly, and 4) it's very smart! Great job!

DriveUp made moving and storing a cinch. They came to my door, I packed my stuff and they took it away. When I needed my stuff back they were on call. Easy, friendly and convenient. Will use again.

I recently ended to store one of my bedrooms for renovation. DriveUp made it so simple and easy for me to make some space in my apt for the renovations. We made an appointment for the weekend, Paul was on time and professional. It took around an hour to load the storage unit. It also was better than pods (which we looked at) because it didn't take up space in our driveway. I would recommend it x2!
