It is with a completely broken heart, I post this. Brought my beloved Luca to Dr.Alequin a couple weeks ago due to excessive panting. Was told he was fine. Just anxiety . Told me if it continues, try CBD gummies. Didn’t sit right with me so I sought 2nd opinion. Dr. Cerf immmediately found heart murmur and troubling sounds in lungs. Luca was setup for procedure on Wednesday , but he passed before office opened. Not saying anything could’ve been done to save him , he might’ve been to far advanced, but I don’t wish this on anyone. Follow your hearts and stay away from Vernon Veterinary Clinic, simply not thorough enough.

Vernon Vet is fantastic! We have been taking our high energy pit mix here the last few years and love the compassionate care he receives. The staff is knowledgeable and never tries to upsell unnecessary treatments. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a trustworthy practice for their beloved pet.

I will never take my pets anywhere else! Vernon Vet is the only clinic with fair prices, compassionate staff, and overall great care for your pets! Amanda at the front desk is very informative and walked us through all we needed to know about the new online pharmacy. All the doctors are amazing as well so seriously if you’re looking for a vet look no further cause Vernon Vet is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

The dr who runs the place does not seem very knowledgeable and cares more about money than animals. Staff seems rushed and overworked and office is dirty and unkept. Go elsewhere if you love your pets and want them safe and happy.

Second time we have had an issue with our dog where he was in horrible pain and they tell you they have no appointments till the next day ! What ever happened to caring about the animals well being . They don't even Deserve the one star but it's the only way I could rate them !! It's probably a good thing because obviously they are in this practice for one reason only !!

I cannot say enough about the staff here. Dr.A is absolutely amazing and took prompt care of my pup in an emergency situation and Amanda made sure to get us in and be so caring. If you want to bring your fur babies somewhere that cares for them the way you do, this is the best place...

Not just the vets, but the staff too here are great. Our 4yr old lab Luna actually loves going to the vet's office. They treat her here better than the pediatricians office treats my kids. They really do love animals here. They are kind, caring and patient. They go the extra mile too. Vet waiting rooms can be a minefield, 5 dogs waiting to be seen with 5 different personalities, you always that 1 or 2 aggressive ones that are ready to stir things up and then someone walks in with a cat and all hell breaks loose. You got 6 people white knuckling their pets leash, all trying to their best to keep it together all apologizing to one another while trying not to shout louder than the next guy feigning calm as they try desperately to keep their dogs in check! Lol Not here! They remember your pets or take fantastic notes. They remember whose aggressive and usher them back to a room quickly & who's calm enough to stay in mixed company, there's even another entrance if you don't want your cat or anxious pooch in heat setting off Wrestlemania. This place knows what they are doing and they do it well, all with a smile. Dog approved review!

The vets and staff are AMAZING❣️❣️❣️ I made a switch from a facility that my cane corso had been to before her adoption, but went corporate. We won't look back. She allows the staff, here, to get physically in her space without me having to block her face because she is fearful of strangers. She is QUITE timid for a large breed. They have shown me the type of care she should have been receiving for her size and breed. I appreciate everything they do for all four of my dogs now.

Dr. Scott was amazing with my rescue. He took the time to get to know my nervous/protective dog. By the end of the appointment, my dog was letting Dr. Scott pet him. I’ve never met a doctor so great with animals. Front desk staff was very kind too. 10/10 recommend.

This place does not care about you or your animals. Go anywhere else and have a better experience. Amanda, the manager, is particularly unhelpful.
