Hours are terrible, weekend. Folks that work there are great.most other pharmacies are open till 9 on Sat, Sunday. How about hours for people who work weekends

We go here when we need an item or two last minute or else we take the drive to shoprite in warwick. Today we went and asked a woman walking around with an acme shirt a question, she quickly told us she was off the clock. Don't know about her, but I work in the service industry and actually take pride in what I do. Even if I were off the clock I would be helpful to my clients or customers. She directed us to someone that could help, we asked our question and he basically responded with a condensing answer. Interactions like this can put a damper on your mood. Especially because we had such a good day then awhile after we're put off by the feeling of this interaction. It's not like either of them were having a bad day because as we walked off (and made to feel stupid for even asking the question) they both had a nice chuckle. So with that being said, rude staff, expired food. Will from now on take my business elsewhere.

Acme in Vernon blows! I went there today looking for a few things, for instance pasta. There are about 10 different brands, but only 5 or 6 of the varieties. The produce section is about 48% full, a lot of empty slots. Terrible experience, for the prices they charge, inflation or not, I expect them to have full shelves.

I think this ACME is a solid grocery store. I would definitely go back if we were in the area. For those from out of town, NJ doesn't provide plastic or paper grocery bags anymore, so bring your own tote bags.

2 stars for the cleanliness in the store but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check expiration dates on EVERY single one of your items that you're buying! I was there this MDW for a weekend vacation and got orange juice that was on sale for 2 for $7. When I got back from my Airbnb, I noticed that both the bottles had an expiration date of 05/24/23... I bought it on MAY 28TH!I also bought duck eggs there and good thing those were not expired. I feel bad for the locals that have to shop here. Definitely not a recommendation for fresh foods.

This place needs to close down and allow for a new business to open with new employees that at minimum don't want people to get sick from their expired / rotten food. This has been the fifth time I've gone in and meat was all past the expiration date and still on the shelf. Sausage was "Use By January 3, 2023" and today is the 14th! You walk in the store and you're overwhelmed with the smell of fish from the fish department and nearly every deli meat you get won't last 48 hours at maximum without developing a slime on it. This store is a huge health violation and you're literally rolling the dice on overpriced food that will assuredly get you sick because it's always expired. There's no reason to be stuck with a business that can't at minimum rotate and check their stock at least WEEKLY, and allow food that expired 7 days ago stay on the shelves.

With the relatively horrid reviews, I walked in assuming I'd be ambushed by terrorists as I walked in at 6 a.m. and thereafter murdered upon exit. Thankfully, neither occurred. I came in a desperate search for water, because our Minerals Resort did not have water in the rooms. I found a pack ofq 24 bottles of Poland Spring for $5, so I got two, and ran away.

I would give it 5 stars if it were just the pharmacists and one particular assistant. There are 2 assistants that are just straight up robotic and speak to the computer screen. “Last name””date of birth” “address”. I mean it’s like I’m not a person. Then on the other hand, there’s I think her name is Christina, she doesn’t even need to ask my name she already knows me, very impressive. Although, I do have a million prescriptions. Also, one of the pharmacist knows me by name as well, it makes me feel like I’m a customer and not just a “date of birth”. Christina is also extremely pleasant on the phone.

After seeing the 1-star rating and reading the scathing reviews, I was ready for the worst. So imagine my surprise when we went. The store was impeccably clean and well-lit. It had tons of great choices including some organic items. What were these other reviewers talking about?! It is like we were in alternate Acme realities. I didn't sample the meat or fish department, can't speak for that. But if you're on a 3-day ski or snowboard trip like we were, Acme is fantastic.

Pleasant surprise! Confused why so many bad reviews - glad they didn't deter us from loading up on groceries for our 2 families spending our winter break on the slopes. Well supplied, great variety, organic & gluten free options, very clean, and excellent customer service.

Just wanted to share this awesome cake made by Acme bakery! I supplied the decorations and the baker really made what I asked for come to life! Not only was it decorated awesome but the cake itself was filled with fresh strawberries and bananas and it tasted great! It was a hit at my sons party!

Acme is your average super market. It's not great, but the other reviews have really baffled me. If you live in Vernon and hate this acme, I'd recommend driving to the Shoprite in Warwick. For me, this place has accommodated most of my grocery needs (at a high cost.) The deli isn't great but the staff I've encountered has always been kind. My father and I went to acme near closing to look for wrapping paper a few days before Christmas and a women helped us out with sincerity (not sure what her name is). To be frank, Acme definitely isn't my first choice super market but I've had a better experience than most of the people in these reviews. It gets the job done.
