“I was at the branch today to handle an issue with my debit card. Ms. Charlene was very helpful in explaining what the issue may have been. I remembered that someone tried to reach out to me during work hours about a suspected fraud issue with my joint account, but I forgot to call them back when I was able to. I acknowledged my fault, and inquired what I should do to correct this. She asked a Hispanic coworker, who is always very curt and sarcastic in her responses. I try not to deal with her whenever I go because she has very poor customer service skills (in my opinion). She was of no assistance in my situation, nor did she seem to care where to direct me to for assistance. Ms. Charlene had my husband use his debit card outside to see if it would work (which it did ), and she told me to call the 888 number on the back to help me out. Everyone else is great there!!!”
“I tried to close on a mortgage purchase and underwent compliance review which made me pass my original closing date. Kevin has been more than helpful to follow up and speed up this review process for me and he got my problem addressed within less than a day after the case has been transferred to him. Greatly appreciate his professionalism and expertise.”
“Honestly our experience with the bank has been limited to closing an account that belonged to a deceased relative ... it took a very long time and was very frustrating. However, when we finally got to Arslan at this branch things turned around ... he was helpful and responsive and ultimately was able to help us get the account closed and the funds removed. “I will use 1 of 3 Chase locations. Today I needed a notarized document (2nd attempt) so this time I went West Caldwell and Al (Albert) was a true professional who was always thinking ahead ex (Do you want a copy?) What a big difference from Chase Randolph's Ms Khaled, who had attempted to up-sell me a very similar Freedom CC and who also quizzed me how to pronounce both her 1st an 2nd names an worse, called me after I left saying she had forgotten to STAMP the notarized document. How do you forget that?? So I can't tell you how relieved I was with West Caldwell's, Albert who exceeded all my expectations!”

“Popped in without an appointment but was seen by the first available, which didn't take too long. Was changing account types and went pretty quickly, no fuss, just a few questions on why and then a quick pitch on their capabilities when we want to chat (didn't get pressured like at another bank visited recently). The great - very stable bank, all the normal services you'd want from the bulge bracket bank. Downside - interest was literally 1 or 2bps... better invest that money if not immediately needed. Parking was pretty full, though, you may have to use street or muni parking because the lot was busy. Not sure if they have a drive-through, though.”

“Ok- I’m not a huge reviewer in writing but my experience merits a review. The Forest Ave branch is of exceptional customer service! I dealt with both Nicholas and Deshawn who were extremely patient, helpful and most importantly professional. I was there for a car loan, went through some hiccups unrelated to MCU but the dealer itself, however, MCU and staff were superb in making sure my loan and documentation was complete. The wait time was not even as long as it used to be. Furthermore, the branch manager Kang Lee was as hands on as the rest of them, which was very nice to see. I highly recommend this Forest Ave branch to my friends and family.”

“After coming in to open an account and meeting the ladies working in the branch, I would never bank at another bank again. They made me feel so welcomed and explained everyone so thoroughly, I left with more knowledge than I came in with. Some things did need approval for their back office and being as though I went on a Saturday they work with a skeleton crew and I would have to wait until Monday. I was so glad I did! “I wanted to write a review on the actual valley website but for some reason I never received a survey to fill out via email. My dad and I have been going to this branch for years when he passed away last year all the ladies were so sweet and caring. Even when he was sick they would still ask about him. This branch has been amazing with helping me with my banking business. My fiance and I opened up a CD with Yrene Avilesshe was simply amazing and helpful. She answered all our questions and took her time to make sure everything was good. She also even did a follow up call to check on everything and asked if we needed any help! I highly recommend her for your banking needs and I highly recommend this branch. They know you by name and the teller Irene is so sweet too!”

“i just cant believe that banking can be so ez. First of all, you walk in, no appointments required. one is able to do pretty much all banking stuff, i didnt have any problems with cash withdrawals, needed over $7k in hundreds and fifties, no problem, other banks: aaahh did u call earlier? At psfcu in Union, no problem. Needed vehicle loan, no problem, just asked for it. No need to wait for loan officer. All employes knew everything about loans. My wife needed IRA, no problem, all employees knew what she was talking about. Will i stay with them??? Hell yeah.”
