Don't go here! They were very flaky did not know the answers to half our questions. We first saw the model apartment but when we went to see our actual apartment it was not what we expected. Granted they will be cleaning prior but it was in rough shape and very outdated. There was leak stains there was bugs , pealing in kitchen and bathroom and banister was loose. Additionally the application process is a freaking rip off. I understand the 75 application fee but the holding deposit is ridiculous for 200. You only get it back if you take the apartment not if you don't and we were not informed before hand. We were also told by an employee that it was refundable We only had it held for a few days not months. That should be taken into consideration

NOT WORTH IT!!!I have lived here for 2+ years now. In the beginning I had no dishwasher.I waited 4 months to have one installed. On a good day it's about 65% efficient in working. Sadly nothing in my apartment is updated. Brown rug, unpainted walls, outdated fridge etc.. just to name a few. My microwave, stove or fridge do not even match. The counter-top in my kitchen is off balance. Cracks in the ceiling starting from my bedroom, traveling into the bathroom shows significant signs of stressed construction or a previous water leak never fixed properly. I honestly think they took the residual items of an old apartment and just threw them in mine. To add insult to injury on 3/28/2023 I went to the leasing office to request service. While speaking to Alyssa(Leasing Agent), James Minn(Property Manager) decided to intervene in a conversation which he was not part of. Speaking with a mouthful of food he begins to incite rules, regulations and ordinances. When challenging his knowledge or lack there of his calm disposition swiftly became austere and unprofessional. Since he could not answer my question he walks back in his office and starts yelling from there to his leasing agents about a different apartment. His disreputable manner proved to have racism undertones. I called corporate and honestly they are just as worse. No cohesiveness or continuity ever established. Enter at your own risk.

9% annual rent increases - rent upwards of $3300 / month. Not sure for what.... Top floor incredibly noisy (they pulled out carpets replaced with floating floor with no sound barrier) with just foot steps.Snow removal practices have improved but grounds still horribly maintained in general.Plumbing is horrendous - toilets and sinks routinely clog, hard water destroys appliances, faucets and toilets.Water is not drinkable (we barely use it to cook) due to bad taste. Plus if you saw the film and sludge that grows in it when it's left to sit for a few days you wouldn't either. Drafty doors and windows (literally can see sunlight coming through).Carpets are impossible to keep clean (shampooing monthly is a must).Furniture from an abandoned unit has been left on exterior sidewalks for over a week now.Landscape sprinklers don't work, haven't for at least 6 years (dead burned grass by July), not that it matters there are no amenities. Cigarette butts everywhere anyone smokes. Trees limitedly trimmed each year (better this past year) but sidewalks are usually obstructed if you're 5'10 or taller.Seasonal plantings are marginal (some little flats in early summer, this year we got a couple sets of mums)Dumpsters were over flowing for over a week and a half at Christmas.Leaking pipes and clogged drains (3x in 6 years) is not uncommon - even when other units back up you may get sewerage flow into your walls and ceilings Exterior is faded, dirty and unmaintainedIt is clear minimum maintenance and investment into the exterior. They want luxury pricing rent rates with zero amenities or proper ground maintenance and only have marginally improved beyond what's been pointed out in other reviews

I’ve lived here for two years, and it’s gotten worse and worse. Homes are poorly put together, the parking is a free for all. If you have something you need fixed they’ll be sure it’s the last thing on their list. I live in an apartment that isn’t updated like the rest of them and they choose to charge me the same as an updated home. The management is no help at all, anything beyond a lease agreement they pass you onto corporate. For a place that offers the minimum they sure do charge a lot. There are plenty of other places near this community that offer more for your buck, with half the hassle. Definitely will not be staying once my lease is up.

Well kept community that has plenty of parking. We visit our family that happily lives here and they love it too. My favorite parts include the walking path around the two ponds and the plentiful garbage receptacles.

I am very disappointed with the situation that has happened the Upper Saddle River Commons. I was told by two leasing agents about a unit that would be available on June 1st and that it wasn't listed yet. I asked to see the unit, however with COVID they don't allow viewings with the tenant in the unit still, which is understandable. I had a scheduled appointment on the day after the tenant vacated. I called today to confirm the appointment and to ask for the lease to be sent over to review, only to be told that this particular unit was already taken and under contract. The next available unit would not be available for another 4 months and be more money. I find this to be very unprofessional and misleading. I am very disappointed in how this was handled.

I have not moved in yet but interaction with the managment has been very good- responsive, friendly and professional - we are sure we made the right decision to lease here. The unit is very spacious and quiet.
