“I cannot recommend Umar at Stuyvesant Auto Repair enough! He was very kind, knowledagble, and replaced the front brakes and rotors on my BMW X2 within an hour, even though I got there 30 minutes before closing and was planning on leaving my car there. Needless to mention his prices are MORE than fair - I was quoted $1,100 by Pep Boys (Route 22, Union, NJ) for the same service that Umar charged me less than half for. “I had a good experience at Citi tires.I purchased two new tires and 1 used, all reasonably priced. Desiree was very nice, good customer service skills.She assisted me with the quote over the phone earlier today. I was pleased with the quote. I would return again. The only draw back is there’s no true place to wait. I sat on a cushy soft bar stool inside the store. But would have liked more space/room separate from the walk in’s . Also, they charge a $3 per tire fee if you don’t take ur tire with u. The other fee $1.50. I did not see that fee displayed or posted in the store. I was so happy that I saved $$ I didn’t complain. However, as a former auditor I would have like to see the fee outlined, discussed or disclosed as an itemized item before signing the credit card.I believe they do good business and would refer them to fam y friends.”

“I went in for a tire patch and rotation. They patch the tire correctly, from the inside, rebalance and mount for a reasonable price. However, it took 2 hours to do the work and they weren't very busy. After the work was done, it took another 30+ minutes for someone to charge me, and I had to go find someone to take care of it. Not at all concerned with customers time.”

“First of all, this Costco location doesn't sell beer, wine or liquor. That's due to outdated, protectionist, anti-consumer New Jersey State law. (While it's understandable that the owners of small liquor stores would worry about their businesses, a look at California shows that independent alcohol retailers still thrive regardless of competition.)Otherwise, this Costco offers all the benefits of any other location, a great variety of tasting samples and occasionally unexpected surprise discounts, at least if you haven't looked at their most recent circular. Of course, some values are better than others, so it still pays to do your homework around such issues as cost-per-unit calculations. (Yes, I am a nerd.)The staff has been pleasant when approached politely with an issue, and I've always had my concerns addressed in a timely manner. (Remember, they're people, too!) My one minor gripe is that the pizza department hasn't answered the phone when I've tried to call in an order, but I also recognize that they're extra busy and likely understaffed. Still, my kids love the pizza, and it's such a good price that the wait ends up being a small inconvenience. (See, small, independent pizzerias are still thriving in New Jersey despite the competition! And there are many other local pizzerias I count as my favorites and still patronize!)”
“Earlier this week I discovered that I had a flat tire while @ work. It was forecasted to have a major severe rain storm later of the day, it had already started to rain, I was panicking that I may be stranded. My coworker came across a local place D & M and when I called, Dominic was so helpful immediately over the phone. He sent his son DJ to come to my work, took my tire back to their shop, patched the leak and put the tire back onto my car. As easy as that! The entire process took less than an hour. And they charged me nothing! In this type of emergency situation, one could take advantage of you. But instead they showed kindness and true honesty. They're a down to earth, family owned business who cared about their reputation and maintaining their customers. It makes sense that they have amazing reviews! I'm so happy to have found a local trust worthy auto shop - They definitely earned my future business!”
