I’ve actually known of the Max Challenge for many years because my mom, aunt, family friends etc. were all members and loved it. I initially thought, eh not for me. Until one day I actually won 10 free weeks at the Max at a tricky tray. I’m not really sure how it happened because it was a total mistake lol but definitely a blessing in disguise. I thought maybe now I’ll give it a shot. Ever since then, I’ve been coming 4-5 days every week for the last 6-7 months. Of course I feel physically better because I’ve been moving my body more than ever, but I mostly feel mentally better. On days I don’t come, I’ve noticed my mind races and I never feel at ease. On the days that I do come, I feel accomplished, relaxed, and ready for my day. The only thing that keeps me coming back is that good mentality feeling. Shoutout to the 6a.m. class! They’re all a bonus to my experience!

My experience at The Max Challenge has been truly exceptional. The instructors are fantastic, offering excellent guidance and creating a welcoming environment. Each workout is not only effective but also enjoyable, thanks to the positive atmosphere that encourages everyone to give their best. I highly recommend The Max Challenge for anyone looking for a transformative and motivating fitness program!

If you were looking for an exercise routine, check out the max in Springfield Union. It’s a great workout great instructors and you will definitely see the difference. Commit yourself to at least 10 weeks of the challenge and you will see for yourself how you’ve become better at things that you didn’t think you’d be able to do. You’re worth worth it

The Max…where to begin? I’ve been a member for over 4-1/2 yrs & keep coming back for more daily. I love the atmosphere, the people, the staff, you name it…I love it. Every day is a “fun” day while working out. I look forward to getting on that mat & sweating out the crazy from my day. I do it for my mental health (or like I like to say, for my sanity). There’s just something about letting it all out & leaving it on that mat. The physical results, are also a plus lol. It’s been the best decision I’ve ever made & the longest commitment I’ve kept as far as a gym.

This gym is a gem. The instructors are amazing- every day they give you a total body workout. If you like group classes and to get a great workout in 45 minutes, this is a great place! And you feel like part of a family seeing familiar faces and sweating together!

I had a very positive experience at the Max. The instructors were fantastic, not to mention the entire staff. Everyone is generally very supportive and motivating. I would definitely recommend.The only negatives:When I was a member, the instructors often have you partner up with someone else. Since the clients are mostly women, I was partnered with a woman most of the time. Fine by me but if I were a woman, I wouldn't want some sweaty guy holding my ankles (in a typical exercise). Like I said, everyone is very friendly and supportive but it's probably awkward for someone to speak up if they're not comfortable with it. I'd rather just have everyone do their own thing without any partner stuff. I know it's not a big deal for everyone but I thought I'd mention it.The other thing is that the owners really need to remind the members to park only in the designated areas instead of parking illegally. When the classes run, the entire street is full of cars. Since the clientele is mostly women who drive SUVs, it creates very poor visibility for the traffic that has to turn left from Pine to Morris Ave due to vehicles parked all the way up to the corner (past the point where they're supposed to park). There is a parking lot close by which the clients can use if they want to walk 5 more minutes (I mean, you're there for a workout, you can't walk a little bit?)But overall a great place which I recommend. And they also made it very easy to cancel, which is a pretty big deal as far as gyms go.
