Only getting a 1 star review for the sole reason that I can no longer use the self checkout for everything. Now it's only 20 items or less. If it was always a policy it wasn't enforced until recently because I have been going to this shop rite since 2018. I don't see the problem you have larger self checkout lanes but you treat them all like the smaller ones. Just make two lines like other stores or even other shop rites, one for 20 or less and another for larger purchases.

Waste of my time. I set up a pickup order, got a text it was ready, and 2 minutes before I pull in to the parking lot I get a voicemail they haven't even started picking my order. This was also 2 minutes to the end of my timeframe, so if I got there at the beginning I would've waited a half hour before being notified.I called back and they said they're busy and it will be at least another hour. They knew they were backed up and didn't tell me until I'm there?Things happen, I don't care they're behind, but it's wild they waited to tell me. If they notified me sooner I could've just waited to go.

I love Shoprite and shop there all the time. I don't usually shop at this location, but since I was going to be in the area I figured let's go.I ordered a cake for my anniversary, I requested buttercream, fresh Strawberries and Bavarian cream. And what I got was icing and no Bavarian. The cake was custom made but not to my specifications.If it was for any other occasion it would be different. But not for my anniversary.Very dissatisfied

Thieves. I had quite a bit of groceries, one being 2 bags of avocados. My total seemed high, walking out of the store I checked the receipt. The cashier rang out each avocado separately for a total of FOURTY FIVE DOLLARS.... Imagine if I didn't check. That's a lot of money to give to a giant corporation. i will never come back the store is run by TEENS...ONLY TEENS....Please train your employees properly.

Very nice. Since we've moved here I'm on a quest to go to all the grocery stores lol. I like this location, so far it's been my favorite grocery store yet. It's huge, has a big selection of items, and everything is organized and displayed very nicely. Price wise things are a bit cheaper than in NY but on par with everything in the world (aka groceries still cost a lot!) They have a great selection of brands that I can't find in other stores and things are always in stock! So far any workers I have encountered have been very nice. I have done grocery pickup twice here and the workers were fast and friendly. My only con is that when you first walk in the smell of shrimp is very heavy because the fish section is right next to the produce. My husband is very allergic to shrimp and always has a reaction, I have to kick him out of the section immediately. I feel for anyone who has allergies. Overall though it is a lovely place!

This is the worst. On Tuesday 20 December, at around 10 m I placed an order and waited 15 minutes,, and was given substandard food in two separate packages. One is perhaps careless, and 2 is intentional. She called me by name so we knew it was my package. How do you trust. These people when you are ordering through a kiosk and racism so ramped?

The Deli Department is awful. What's the use in have a kiosk when they don't follow directions. They cut the meats any way they want. You better check ya meats and cheeses before you leave the store. Feels like I'm surrounded by idiots!!!

Terrible place! I shopped here every weekend. Long lines and un polite cashiers. Today I was approached by one of them. I've never felt so mistreated. She basically harassed me and told me that I was stealing a plastic bag. "If you don't pay for the bag before you put stuff into them you are a thief" yelled the big woman. I am in shock that you she asked to do 2 separate transactions. The first one to buy a bag and then another to buy the goods you put inside the bag. (Not rational) I gave her the bags and told her I didn't want them. She told me "You Hispanic people should not be in this country, you think you're smart " (mind that she is a elderly overweight African American woman) A store that harasses a customer who spends over 500 dollars every weekend for a 0.99 cent bag does not deserve my business. From now on I will go to Kings supermarket. A but more far, but you get fresh goods and a cordial treatment. Bye Bye shop rite!

I REALLY like this location. It is done up with various stations that make it very inviting. They keep things organized with workers and rope offs that prevent the checkout area from impeding areas that clutter the flow of walk.

The shoprite on route 22 specifically the home shopping pick up area! They have this one UGLY CROSSED EYED black b**** that works there and has bout the nastiest attitude ever!! Not to mention some of there workers when they came to my car they smelled like something very unappealing and nasty!! Almost smelled like a bum next to a garbage can. and I've only been to them twice! First two times had bad smelling people could smell them through my mask!! And the ugly crossed eyed girl with the attitude will make you want to leave and not even be there they way she handles herself is very unprofessiona!! If you go here be ready to fight and fuss because that's all rt 22 shoprite is good!! STAY AWAY FROM THE SHOPRITE NEXT TO BEST BUY ON RT 22. This is probably the only warning you'll get.

Left my vaccine card and waited in store for half an hour for someone to just give it back. While I stood there I was told to wait for non existent people's scripts to be filled before I could be helped. Literally just giving my card back to me. Shopped and paid and all while they still carried on with their important tasks. Zero stars would be adequate for this pharmacy. If your script can be filled elsewhere do so. Everyday you go there they are in complete disarray. There is no preferable time or day of week. When you go to the counter you will be ignored, fully. The tech and pharmacist will proceed with whatever they are doing no acknowledgement whatsoever. When you make yourself known, anything you ask will be treated as if you've asked them to climb Mount Everest. Complete breakdown in communication between their staff. Pharmacist acts as if their job prevents them from basic human interaction, like hi, or I'll be right with you. A mess. Never did get my vaccine card.
