Super horrible experience today with the woman who works in the deli. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak. When I got home I bit in and thought it tasted different. I called and very inquisitively asked is this sandwich chicken or beef meat ? She said you don't know the difference. I tried to explain I was just there and I ordered chicken. She began talking over me and yelling and told me well you'll have to come talk to my boss .. I said put him on the phone .. mind you this has happened before and I just buy another and give beef to my sons. I will preface this by saying when they reopened I Brought a sandwich that she made and I welcomed her and tipped her nicely. This sandwich was only $7 no biggie. And it wasn't bad .. well made. But her attitude and total abuse over the phone lead me to snap and yell at her just to get her to hear that I didn't want my money back I just wanted to know what the meat was since I haven't eaten beef in over 28 years ! I Would not know what it tastes like, perhaps this is some new chicken steak product .. who knows but because she became defensive and ignorant immediately she never got that much information. She refused to put the owner on The phone and then refused to answer when I called back. When you disrespect me ( which as a woman of color I am used to ) I seriously doubt she would have immediately upon a simple question spoke to anyone else in that manner) you disrespect my dollars. So they will NEVER get money from this household ever again!

Another owner and name of place has changed to Burnet Deli and Grill. It was opened beginning of the year, after about 6 months of vacancy. After Quick Check moved out about couple years ago and another business call Quick N Out was there for 6 months and went out of business. This business has been opened for entire duration during the Covid days. This place is good for little grocery shopping and getting quick bite to eat. I got myself egg white veggie omelette with hash brown. It was good. It was more like egg white scrambled egg with ingredients, instead of omelette (one piece). All the ingredients are fresh which I like. Welcome addition since this is walking distance from home.

Just had a sandwich from there. I believe it was the Italian sub with ham, pepperoni and turkey and it was so good. Was visiting from SC. I will definitely come again.

It offers a wide variety of snacks, supplies, drinks, and its deli portion of the store makes great sandwich.
