I had an extremely disappointing experience with Omega. From the beginning, the process was plagued with issues, the most significant being their exorbitant closing costs and hidden fees.
Firstly, the closing costs were outrageously high compared to industry standards. Despite being initially quoted a competitive rate, the final costs ballooned without clear explanations. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, leaving me feeling deceived and financially strained. Peggy was Always “recommending” their own people, who charged RIDICULOUS FEES.
Moreover, the company had numerous hidden fees that were not disclosed upfront. Every step of the process seemed to come with an additional, unexpected charge. These fees were buried in the fine print and only became apparent once I was too far along in the process to easily back out.
Adding to the frustration, the company demonstrated a lack of responsibility and professionalism. There were frequent delays in communication, and when they did respond, the information was often inconsistent or incorrect. I had to constantly send the same information over and over again, they asked for document and information that they already had. Important deadlines were missed, causing unnecessary stress and complications in my home buying process.
Overall, I would strongly advise against using Omega for your mortgage needs. Their high closing costs, hidden fees, and irresponsible behavior made the entire experience far more stressful and expensive than it needed to be. THEY ARE PREDATORY!!!!!!
YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Please look elsewhere.

They hid loan costs from me from the beginning.
Mrs. Peggy never wanted to tell me the interest rate they wanted to give me, I asked her several times. In the end, they offered me an interest rate that was too high even though we have a very good credit score. And on top of that, other extra costs from her bank that she never explained to us.
It was a very cold, cutting and even rude treatment towards me. He charged us an application fee that no bank charges in advance, and a commitment fee that they do not charge in advance for a total of 1,990 dollars and even worse, later he ignored us and did not want to return the money to us, nor could the lawyer recover that money.
I am very dissatisfied. I would never recommend it to anyone and I wouldn't want anyone to have such a bad time and horrible stress as me and my wife did.

My experience was not good, since I started a loan and I had to look for another option because it was not giving me good interest and apart from I lost 1,990 that was deposited at the beginning which was not returned to me because I did not accept the loan ????

I am writing this review from my husband Andy who isn’t very tech savvy. Going with Omega financial services was the best decision I ever made. As a first time homeowner I was really nervous and scared about the process and how everything would go. Mr. Michael was the biggest blessing to come into my life and to help me with this process. Being that my credit score wasn’t that great either Mr. Michael still was able to help me and I was able to get approved for my first home. The staff at Omega and their service is impeccable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone to use Omega financial services whether you’re a first time home owner or not.I am forever grateful for the experience that omega financial services gave me throughout the process of buying my first home. Mr. Michael would go out of his way and his employees as well to make sure that I was being notified of everything that was going on, to make sure that I was comfortable with everything that was going on and also to make sure that everything was running smoothly. We have just closed on a loan we've gotten with Omega Financial and this has probably been the best experience I've ever had with any business in New Jersey!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!I could not ever imagine that a process of getting a mortgage can be so rewarding. We were buying a 3 family home, That had tons of problems and concerns and was overall under a lot of pressure. I experienced mortgage lenders before but they always document and torture you to death. With Omega, this has turned out to be the opposite of what I expected and the best part of our purchase transaction. Mr. Michael and his team was above and beyond all expectations, supporting us every step of the way, returning our calls in minutes, even after-hours, patiently explaining all the details of the process, and calming us down. We were given even a better rate than they originally promised and approved for a loan in just three weeks! In our case, this was crucial because the seller insisted on a short mortgage, or we were to lose our $50,000 down payment contingency in the contract and we had to move very fast to get the house. All bankers and brokers we spoke to previously told us that those terms were quite unrealistic. Any minor delay with a lender would simply throw us out of the contract. This made us very hesitant about going into contract at all, but Mr. Michael promised that he will be able to get us a loan on time, and we closed even earlier than we expected. Therefore, if not for Mr. Michael, we would have never gotten the house we loved and truly wanted.I don't have enough words to describe my gratitude to Mr. Michael and his team including Josh! Omega is now our trusted lender forever and we will wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody and everyone who will listen.
