My wife and I were able to hire a Consierge/ Broker in order to find the vehicle we wanted. So I was informed by my Broker , the 2024 Palisade Calligraphy was available at Maxon Hyundai. We live in Brooklyn NY , so it was a 40 minute drive. My broker was able to secure a good price at which we decided to move forward with. Now let me mentioned that I had an immaculate 2021 Palisade Limited to trade in. There was an amount of equity built into it. Overall the equity covered ALL upfront cost. My complaint is the finance manager tried to sell me extended warranties AND vehicle etching with key FOB replacement at an additional costs. At which point I declined. So he insisted that the vehicle etching and key FOB insurance was included in the final contract but needed a signature for that particular service contract . He also stated it was "free" !?! No car dealership will offer anything for free. Why do I need a signature for something "free" or already included? Besides the etching and FOB insurance was clearly noted on the contract as an option. Well I tore the contract for the etching. Something you can have done at any local police command for free. Also before we signed for the new vehicle, again I was told they would collect the first month's payment. IT WAS ALREADY INCLUDED IN THE EQUITY !!!! So I rejected his request ,I showed on the contract where it was clearly paid for with the equity. The finance manager had told me no one told him , you're the finance manager, it is incumbent on you to make sure all numbers are correct. So we just " signed and drive ". I know business owners need to turn a profit. But please do not insult people's intelligence. Be fair. Allow the customers to make a decision without being pushy. It may be intimidating for most , but to my credit I worked out of NYPD and have seen some really intimidating people. Car sales people do not strike fear in me. My advice to all , read your contracts thoroughly. Do not be intimidated. Nothing is free. And most importantly, if you have NOT signed any contracts walk away if your needs are not met. There are over 28000 car dealerships in America. On a good note , most of the sales people were cordial and respectful. I hold no ill will towards anyone. It's a learning curve , the car buying process. Good luck to all.

Worst in sales excellent in delivering nothing but false promises. They never call back. Salesmen smell like weed and are rude and inexperienced. Managers will never speak to you and if they do they give you lies. Can’t conduct business over the phone or in person. Worst dealer ever!!

Lease ExperienceSales Person - Danny: Very professional, personable, respectful and calm. He was super smooth and made the experience stress-free. He heard me out, did not judge me with my budget and put a lot of effort into his craft. The best thing he did for me was to actually take the time and help me carry all my stuff out of my old car (trade-in) into my new car. He now checks in time-to-time to ensure I am doing well with my vehicle. He is, by far, the best salesman I ever had in a dealership.Manager - Eddie: Very straightforward and honest. He told me he wanted this to be a quick negotiation and will listen to my needs and budget. After very light negotiation, he heard me out, and went for the numbers I had presented him with. He was very kind and had a lot of empathy. This was the fastest leasing / negotiating experience I ever had at a dealership.Finance - Irv: SPEEDY. He got through all the paperwork fast as lightning. He noticed I was engaged and had a great relatable talk with me about life. Towards the end he presented me with some insurance options and was not pushy at all - very respectful. This entire process was so fast and easy. This was by far, the greatest leasing experience I ever had. I have been leasing cars for 6 years and this is what an ideal experience is.

Run away from dealing with Maxon...especially Samantha C. We communicated over email on what my out the door price would be for a used car. She verified she could do it. She'll tell you what you want to hear. Trying to sell the cars before months end. Come on in and let's close the deal!!!! After a lengthy drive...guess what? She could not honor it, and they ended up tacking on over $5k of dealership fees. Scammer dealership and major disappointment!!!

RUN, DON'T WALK from this dealership like your pocketbook is on fire. I bought my Mazda 6 from them years ago and now its leaking. the headliner is literally falling down on my head. I brought it to the dealership and they told me to replace my windshield, which I did. ITs still leaking $600 later. I brought it back and they told me they cant help me and couldn't figure out the problem. I called the main customer service for Mazda and they told me they could not help me. I went to 3 mechanics and a body shop and they all told me they couldn't help me or figure out where my car is leaking.SO MY ADVICE IS THIS : DO NOT BUY A MAZDA, YOU WILL PROBABLY REGRET IT - IF YOU ALREADY OWN ONE, I HOPE IT DOESN'T HAVE A LEAK because if it does, your screwed, plain and simple.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Oh my God, where do I begin? I went in with my daughter for a recall on her 2019 Hyundai Tucson. We were told by a rep we spoke with named Mike Vasquez, that there were several things wrong, and that the bill would be almost $900. As it turns out, he was wrong, and didn't know what he was talking about because on the day we were to pick up the car, that is my daughter and I, Mr. Vasquez had called in sick and another rep caught a major mistake. The oil pan and gasket repair was still under warranty and fortunately the second rep named Rudy, caught it, and that saved me nearly $500 on the bill. But the question is... Why wasn't the first rep properly trained? This could have been a very costly mistake and one favoring Hyundai Maxon financially. I would've been screwed out of about $500 because the rep didn't know what he was talking about. That is Mike. Also customer service for pick up was horrible. We were told to come around 10:30 in the morning but that someone would inform us when the car was ready. No one called or texted. I called twice and left a voicemail message the first time, and then called the second time, and we were placed on hold forever and nobody ever came back on the phone to talk with us. We went to the dealership and ended up waiting another 45 minutes because the repair was not completed by the time promised and they said they were washing the car. Seriously folks, don't go to this place. I also had to fight to not pay for an oil change, which we had talked about because it was due. However, with the oil pan repair, it's automatic that they have to put new oil back once they drain the old pan. This just makes sense. You can't operate an automobile with a gasoline powered engine without lubricating it or else it will overheat and destroy the engine. This is car basics 101. I explained to the second rep who still wanted to charge me for an oil change costing over $55 that they are therefore now billing me twice for an oil change... One with the oil pan repair because they have to put oil back in the engine, as stated, and two, they wanted to still charge me for an oil change anyway, in other words, this would've been two oil-change charges... One with the oil pan repair and the second one for the routine oil change that was scheduled. I finally got that taken off the bill, but I had to argue with Rudy over this. In short, stay away. A $500 error because of a poorly trained and misinformed original rep is very costly and should not be made by a professional garage. Caveat emptor. Stay away. Because of my assertiveness I walked away paying $377 rather than $860. I saved, through being a smart consumer, and speaking up, about half of the original quote. Shame on these people. And Rudy said he wanted a decent review when I receive one via email for the experience. He has got to be kidding. Just got a response from Lauren. Owner at Maxon Hyundai. He says we spoke on the phone and I just want everyone here to know that he and I never spoke on the phone; that is another lie. We never discussed any of what I wrote in my review on the phone ever ever ever. Nor did I ever speak on the phone with Chris. Not once. These people are liars. Do NOT do business with them. Brad

Awful experience and terrible customer service. Do not go here, go literally anywhere else. They will not help you, they are disrespectful and ready to scam. It felt like it was attributed to blatant homophobia, my partner and I could not have had a worse experience. Avoid at all cost!

We made the 2 hour trip from Pennsylvania to Maxon. We purchased a Kona. Rico went above and beyond to accommodate my family. My parents are older and he had wonderful patience with them. Thanks Rico!

Don't waste your time going to maxon Hyundai...the worst dealership! The absolute worst. I want to sue them for my time and they're lying conniving nature. They hit my credit 5 times! Why? Made the deal Thursday, after checking my credit, for one price! Went back the next day to pick up car and they hit me with a different price of almost 200 more dollars monthly! Not a place I would send anyone...check reviews first y'all, this place don't even have a show room.

3yrs ago after recommendation from a family member I tried Maxon because my last dealership salesman left after 12yrs dealing with them. But my experience wasn't great. Until I received a Text from Debbie out of the blue cause my lease was maturing. After a straight forward conversation text. I gave them another try, after new management. From the moment me and my family walked in, we were given VIP treatment! They really changed and rolled out the red carpet for us. I wanted to reach to the entire sales team and say thank you so so much. My wife loves her 2023 Portafino Grey Tucson SEL SUV! They made the experience so much better from last one. They did everything to make my family comfortable. Ricco, the sales associate they assigned to us was Fantastic! Ask for him, Highly Recommended!!!! From the TV and pizza he brought over for my daughter. That was a great nice touch, that made the transaction so much easier knowing she was comfortable and not getting restless. thank you. And then Albert the Sales Manager, getting the color my wife wanted. To even the price I was happy with with no crazy back & forth haggling. Kenneth the Finance Manager, signing the papers was a breeze. I honestly have to say, that was the best sales experience I had in my 28 yrs of leasing!Maxon Hyundai you made me now and will have a loyal customer for years to come. Bless you! Angel

My husband and I had a great experience at Maxon Hyundai. We went there with the intent of purchasing a 2023 Hyundai Palisade and that's exactly what we did thanks to the great customer service we experienced. It was a pleasure working with Bo, Eddy, Jason, and Peter. We couldn't be happier with our car. Thank you guys!
