Horrible customer service. They try to con you into buying a day pass even though free passes are available, and they pressure you to provide personal information even if you're not interested in a membership or just testing out the gym. Be weary of them collecting your information for an unsolicited fitness analysis and disguising it as a waiver. When I pointed this out, Don/Ron threw a tantrum, which was unprofessional and frustrating. I can read, and the coercion was real. I refuse to sign anything that isn’t what it’s claimed to be. I won’t be returning to this LA Fitness.
I wish I took a pic of the document that he called a waiver that clearly said fitness analysis. They way they try to meet their quota is unacceptable.

They have a very nice room full of equipment that YOU CANNOT GO IN TO because it’s only for personal training. It’s the smallest feeling LA fitness I’ve been to. The machines are in desperate need of repair. I will not be going back to this one.

My friend and I went to LA fitness Union location to do a Zumba class. We were greeted at the door with the most unpleasant attitude. There was a extremely short, semi muscular guy, with his hair slicked back with what seems to be moco de gorilla hair gel. His staff seemed extremely, tense, stoic, unwelcoming, not courteous, unfriendly, unprofessional, robotic and flat out nasty/mean. Except for one young lovely lady. Her face lit up in agreement to my alarming concerns. RANDY the manager, serves as a deterrent to new and potential guest/ members. Maybe he was having a bad day, but his attitude was Machismo, cocky, and very disrespectful. He lacks customer service intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. Has a Napoleon complex, and is very chauvinistic. He said, and I quote “I’m a man.” As if that excuses his behavior, attitude, and tone. We are all humans 1st, respect extends across female and males barriers. This was a very bad and traumatic experience. I would never want to do business with LaFitness just based in this interaction. I actually like LA because it reminds me of Bally Fitness. But Randy needs to be better. I visited other locations and the people there were very pleasant. He seemed very predatory pushing the $20 day pass down our throats at 7pm. We were not gonna use the machines or anything. Someone please advocate for the customers.

My friend and I went to this gym to support a mutual friend who was instructing a Zumba class. I was not aware that she was only allowed to have one guest which is fine. My issue is that the so called manager Randy who obviously have a napoleon complex was extremely rude and unprofessional. The other guy at the desk was also rude. I would never consider joining this gym basin this interaction.

Worst gym ever !! They dont let member know about the contract when you want to sign for personal trainer! Please dont sign up for personal trainer ! Theres a contract for 6 month ! I specifically said i wanted for one month and they were keeping charging me i call them . And they said you going to end in collection !

Guys... seriously you need to pay attention to the restrooms. At least men's restrooms. It stinks like hell. Need a deep clean and a regular schedule to check. It really smells bad, please take action.
The water at the restrooms is super hot you can even wash your hands.
Not even Planet fitness had equipment in these conditions, I dont think is fair what im getting for what I pay.

Came here with a 7 day guest pass , wasn’t allowed in even though I had other credentials, but they was happy to take $20 for a day pass with no ID … makes nothing sense !!!! In Union

I was harassed by a guy there and when I told several workers about it so I could fill out a report, they instead villanized me. That was my last day there. Other women were speaking up for me but the men were all offended that I spoke up about the incident

Used to be nice, now is just disgusting. No one cleans, garbage every where and mirrors probably haven’t been touched in months looks like . This pic taken before gym opened up. You would think someone would’ve wanted to clean before customers come in. Do better!

I have been attending this Gym for a year and it has gone very well. I am training with Nerva Jean and the experience has been rewarding, respectful and focuses on working on the areas of your body that you want to improve!

Ms. Jackie, the manager there, runs this club in a fine manner. Whenever you have a concern or problem, she listens and respects your concerns. She makes sure the member is comfortable and satisfied with his her membership. The head custodian there , Mr. Adrian Davis, what an excellent job he does! The men’s locker room is always clean. He cleans the showers and the floors constantly. He makes sure there is always enough paper towels . He supervises the gym floor and is constantly checking areas that must be cleaned. He is an industrious worker. Hygiene is important ; he makes sure the gym is safe and sanitized. Love working out there. The environment is pleasant; members are polite and amiable.

Where are all the dumbbells and cable attachments? I've never been to an la fitness they only had one set of each weight dumbbell. I waste way to much time standing around waiting for weights.
