I really love this place just wish they can hire someone just to answer the phone calls. You can never reach anyone! It's a big inconvenience to go all the way to the location for a simple question.

It’s like NO hertz employees want to work. I’ve called 6 or 7 different locations and if im lucky enough to get one to answer the phone they’re very short and either they’re lying or false advertising because NO hertz on earth have any Tesla’s but you can reserve one. My advice is to call the day of your reservation and confirm that they indeed have a Tesla, but I can GUARANTEE they don’t.

I'd rented a car from Hertz Rental Car in Union New Jersey this past week and it was a very positive and enjoyable experience. The staff there is excellent and very accommodating and even the rental car itself was a pleasure to drive for a full week. Thank you for the great customer service.

My wife and I arrived to the location and we were surprised to find the car selection options that were available. Nasir made the decision and experience that much better for us. Ask for him when you arrive and tell him AJ sent me. The vehicle we rented was clean, new and reliable and hopefully we will get a call telling us the car is ready to be picked back up. The staff here is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend checking this Hertz for your rental car need options. @IAMAJSUPERNOVA

Do not rent from here. I rented a Tesla that was at a low 30% charge when I picked up the car. I returned it at a higher charge. The customer service personnel advised I would not be billed a refueling fee. They lied - I was billed a refueling fee.Customer service personnel advised me a toll-pass would cost $10/day. Another lie. They charged me $30/day.Terrible service.

Made a reservation and when I showed up after paying an Uber to get there, was told that they didn't have a car for me and wouldn't honor my reservation. The reps weren't even apologetic or empathetic, there wasn't even a "sorry we ran out of cars". They couldn't care less.

Only rating this low based on the experience as a rideshare driver....The rideshare app let's us reserve a vehicle--only the rideshare app doesn't actually know if a vehicle is available in real-time [according to on-site Hertz reps]. So should there be at least 1 person assigned to managing the ridershare driver fleet on-site? It seems to happen at too many locations, but that does not make it acceptable. No issues with the customer service received by the reps on-site, just the processes regarding rideshare driver pickup [including the often unanswered phone calls which could prevent drivers from showing up for a non-existent reserved rental].

DO NOT USE HERTZ, ESPECIALLY THIS ONE. One star is far too many. Reservation made was not fulfilled. Had the same experience as another customer - they tried to push an electric car on me, and I've never driven one. They TAKE reservations, but they do not FULFILL reservations.They wound up giving me a smelly (marijuana), filthy car (that they use for Uber?) with over 100,000 miles. I drove it to my house, and parked it in the driveway. The next day, the car wouldn't start. I called Hertz, and they sent a towing service to tow it to wherever they repair cars. They still insist that I pay for the rental.
