The owner is as knowledgeable, kind, and extremely helpful. It’s the kind of store where you can get a personal attention by someone knowledgeable about books. This local store has a personal touch, if they don’t have it, they will order it. I’ve run into the owner delivering books to elderly customers that are home bound. When is the last time you’ve EVER seen that? They have earned my business for life. Sorry big box stores.

This is a nice, locally owned book store. The owner is very helpful and any books that they don't have in stock can quickly be ordered for pickup. It's so nice to be able to go browse in an actual bookstore!

I just love this little book store in the middle of town. The owner is very helpful and best of all kid friendly. They have a nice selection of books. My son is always looking for something specific and they had no problem ordering it for him. Would much rather support a business like this rather than a larger one or Amazon!

Great store! Super knowledgeable and friendly owner and operator. Willing to order books for you and provide recommendations. My favorite part is the children's section with a vast array of books focused on representation of black and brown people. Simply beautiful!

Here's a thought: how about keeping the hours listed here consistent with the actual store hours, so that chumps don't travel half an hour into this lackluster town, to find that the only bookstore in the area is in fact closed? Just........a wild, bizarre notion.EDIT: Due to the positive, and quick response of the proprietors, I switch from one star to four, and plan to visit again at an appropriate time.

It was a day for exploring bookstores in New Jersey and this one was a pleasure to visit. A great Summer reading section, some used books (always a plus) and a nice airy space that lends to leisurely browsing. Some of the stock is a little worn, but that adds to this store's charm. The owner - who was chatty and friendly - even ordered a Rand McNally NJ road map - to be mailed to me - after we both agreed there aren't enough printed road maps around anymore! He also recommended a place for coffee nearby. This is why we need to keep supporting local independent bookstores!
