I had a bad experience at the CVS Pharmacy on Rahway Ave in Elizabeth. I waited for an hour in line to get my medicine because they only had one cashier. I ended up without my medicine, and I received a message saying it was ready. They need to have more personnel because they closed the CVS on South Elmora Ave, and they have more customers now, so they need more people taking care of the pharmacy. It’s a shame they closed that CVS on Elmora. It was a great place to go and I never had a problem.

This is my closest cvs, the one I’ve always been, the new kids they are hiring answered a question I had, very sarcastically and unprofessional. Please pay attention to employees attitudes and how they communicate with customers! Very unpleasant moment there!

The hours for the pharmacy suck. Broken glass all over the parking lot. Long waits in the drive-thru. Child safety caps screwed onto my pill bottles so tightly, i’m getting arthritis trying to get the things off.

The outside of this building is filthy and unkept. Trash, and overgrown or dead vegetation.The inside of the store is not clean either, looks like the doors and windows haven’t been cleaned in years. Routinely out of stock items. Time to find a new pharmacy.

theres one pharmacist in that cvs that is very unpleasant to talk to. she lies and loughs out rudely when I ask her a question or when I state that the automated answering system informed me about my prescription being ready on a certain day/hour, she tells me that "she doesnt know what the machine told me or who i spoke to. and regardless we dont have your medication". ive been going to this cvs for years and i never had more negative experience then in past 12 months. i believe shes one of the managers there too so. i would definetely not recommend this CVS just of the manager that doesnt take her job seriously being a pharmacist and knowing that people need their medication on and on top of that not 2 weeks after i run out of my prescription. reticules!

If I can give zero stars I would. The pharmacist/Sandra seems so overwhelmed and impatient. Personally I do not care how she feels about her job, just do your job. She picks up and puts you through voicemail Way too often. Just take your time and breathe, it will be ok. Or hire help. I also work in a high volume facility and the rudeness is what gets me. She really needs to be checked. Customer service is key Ana she has none and she’s clearly in the wrong field. Pharmacist/Sandra do better!!!

Everytime you call the pharmacy, you'll get a different answer. People act like robots and won't listen whatsoever. I've left to a different pharmacy and I recommend you do the same.

Had was an issue with the doctors office sending my script over incorrectly & they were claiming it couldn’t be fixed until tomorrow. Luckily, the staff in the pharmacy were able to call & get everything sorted out for me. They put a rush on the script & had it ready within 15 minutes. Very appreciative of the time that was taken to make sure I was able to leave with the correct medications.

If you value your health, look elsewhere. This pharmacy has the warmth of undertakers & the consistency of a broken watch. We regret tolerating their growing mistakes & lies for too long. Different employees give conflicting answers and they still won't correctly dispense the prescription. Have never seen an error prone pharmacy like this one.

Called 12 times for a fax number to send a COVID MED and the girl proceeded to put me on hold each time with 5 calls ahead of me without listening to what simple service I needed, I was on hold 20 minutes before giving up!

Horrible service in the pharmacy! Have been waiting 1 week now for a medication to come in, they are absolutely no help with locating the medication at another CVS. On hold time averages 20 minutes to speak with someone, called. CVS main customer support, they couldn't getThrough to anyone in the pharmacy! This store's pharmacy is the worst!
