This is the worst service experience I've ever had. About 2 weeks ago, I came in to get some medicine, but it's locked up, so I hit the customer service button. I waited a total of 20 minutes and hit the button around 5-8 times. Just today, I hit the button and never got any help, and on my way out, I walked past 3 employees. I went over to the Walgreens and did the same thing, got help immediately, and I was out the door. This place is terrible, and I refuse to come back here ever again for anything in the future. BOYCOTTED!!!

The worst customer service. For unknown reason there are about 5 profiles for the same patient and I have been trying to get it fixed for over one year. Every time I walk in to pick up a prescription (I have to visit the pharmacy at least twice a month) they say “there is nothing for you go talk to the pharmacist”. Not only there is nobody that takes responsibility to resolve the problem but the employees simply don’t care. Sad.

New pharmacist they hired sucks and is super slow and lazy. No personality. Avoid this location. They leave the window shut can barely hear them. Like I don’t want the whole line to know my personal info. So dumb.

On this day I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription. I was told it was out of stock but the lady double checked and told me there were 64 tablets. I told her if I could take that and she told me the check with the pharmacist Abdelaziz Khalifa. He was annoyed and told me that my prescription was for 120 tablets so that it wasn’t enough and if he gives me what they have, then I cannot come back for the rest of the prescription even when they’re back in stock. I said it was okay, and he said ok I’ll give you the what we have. When I went to pick it up, it was a 30 day supply with only 30 tablets which confused me because my doctor left me a voicemail and online notes indicating it was 2 times a day so 30 tablets isn’t even enough for 30 days. When I went back to the pharmacist, he ignored me while he and cashier Neil discussed their interaction with a previous customer and how they were both admittedly rude to the customer from earlier in the day because they didn’t like how he approached the counter. When he finally asked me what I needed, I asked him why I didn’t receive the 60 tablets we discussed. MHis response was because he needed the rest of it for other patients who may need the prescription. I told him this isn’t okay because I could’ve had the prescription sent to another pharmacy if I would’ve known he was only giving me 30 tablets. He was very dismissive and said oh well next time go to another pharmacy. He refused to even make eye contact with me or apologize for misinforming me with what he was doing to do with the prescription order. I’ve never been treated with such rudeness or disdain from a pharmacist.

I'm not sure my review will even matter based on the extremely low Google Review Score, but I am so aggravated and disgusted by the experience I just had at this CVS pharmacy, I had to say something. All of my prescriptions are on auto refill at this CVS location. One of my scripts should have been auto refilled on 12/17/23. On 12/26, I checked the app and it didn't auto refill. So I put thru a refill on the app. I got an e-mail confirmation that the order was received. Today, 12/29, I check the app because I didn't get the daily text reminders that my RX was ready. It didn't even show on the app that it was refilled. So I did it again. When I checked a few hours later, the RX said cancelled, please call the pharmacy. I then spent the next 2 + hours on hold trying to get thru to the pharmacy. By 10 pm, I decided to get dressed and go there as no one was answering the phone in the pharmacy. I went to the RX drop off window and stood there for almost 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. When someone finally did acknowledge me, I then waited again for the pharmacist to come over. I told him the situation and he looked up my RX and said that it denied as a duplicate and asked if I had filled it elsewhere. I did not, as this is the only pharmacy I go to. He then called my insurance to see what the issue was. From the conversation I heard, it appears that someone at this CVS processed my RX thru my insurance, but never actually filled it, which is why it denied as a duplicate. Kevin, the pharmacist got my RX ready quickly, which was the only positive of this evenings experience with this CVS location. While he was ringing me up, I asked if it is custom to ignore ALL phone calls. He then proceeds to tell me that they were backed up and trying to get caught up. WRONG ANSWER. It is extremely unprofessional and unbelievable poor customer service to ignore all phone calls. During the 30 minutes or so that I was there I could hear the automated voice say "one pharmacy phone call" over and over again, and no one ever answered it. I called for over 2 hours. There were at least 5 people working in the pharmacy that I could see, possibly more. Someone should be responsible for taking phone calls. Kevins response was absolutely absurd. Obviously, if he thought it was acceptable that no one should answer the phones, his staff learns from his example. Shame on you Kevin. You should never be too busy for good customer service. It's not the first time I've had issues at this CVS. I've been shorted on more than one occasion by as many as 23 and 17 pills from my prescriptions. If my insurance didn't dictate that I use CVS to fill prescriptions, I most certainly wouldn't be going here.

I wish I could give a negative 5. I just left there in SEVERE SEVERE pain looking for a heating pad and cream to help sciatica— I’m almost in tears bc I couldn’t stand so I asked for advice so I wouldn’t have to stand there googling and the pharmacist COMPLETELY blew me off. She says “idk there’s lidocaine over there” um yea. I’m aware- what about the other 20? Nothin? She just walked away and continued to gab on with her coworker (which was equally annoying bc I was in tremendous pain and didn’t wanna hear people giggling and rambling)TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I hope this cream works.I had to sit on the floor and google them all myself.I’ll never ever ever ever come back here.

My wife went to this CVS to acquire pain medication after my back surgery. Not only did the pharmacist present her with an attitude, but he also noted that the cvs does not carry that medication and he refused to tell my wife which CVS would carry it because “people have been known to abuse that medication.” My wife noted that other CVS are quite helpful in noting where to get medication and the pharmacist scoffed and told her “I guess she is just your friend.”Quite possibly the worst experience, and worst pharmacy, I’ve ever had to deal with.It is sad that CVS is failing as a store, but with pharmacists like this, I cannot blame people for not going.

The pharmacist in Union is the most unprofessional, rude and dismissive person for someone who should be compassionate. This is the reason I despise cvs. I would never go there for any meds or anything ever again. Stay away!

It took me a while to find the worst pharmacy in NJ, but I think I've done it! Wait in line me for an hour, the pharmacist finally finds your script....wait 45 minutes to fill it, then be told to wait on another line for another half hour to pay for it. That was fun

I rarely go to CVS and of course when I had to go there out of necessity, the front registers were being handled by an individual who was not only rude, but barely spoke English. Another rep came to assist me who took his time to assist me and when I tried calling the store back to get the correct name of this helpful individual, I called there 6 times and NO ONE ANSWERED! NOT EVEN THE 24 HOUR PHARMACY DEPARTMENT!! No good deed goes unpunished. ...

The overnight or early-morning pharmacist is rude and unhelpful and in fact gave me wrong info perhaps in an attempt to do less work. Sorry you don’t like your shift, but it defeats the purpose of being a 24-hour pharmacy. And that’s just my most recent issue with them. It’s like pulling teeth to get them to do their jobs.

This has been my favorite pharmacy for over 10 years. I literally went in today to ask regarding a prescription my doctor had sent over this morning, the pharmacist was unprofessional and rude. He assumed to know my coverage without looking at the system and kept saying they will not cover but let me look before I say anything. Then he said you dont meet the criteria for the medication as if he was my primary care physician. Very rude and unprofessional. Zero stars for that staff member.

I checked in for my flu shot on my phone. I waited in line just so they could know I was there. The guy behind the counter was helping someone else but when he needed help he ignored my line. This is where you take the next person. The second guy attended to me after he was done with the other customers. When he found out who I was he said they had asked about me. No one called my name. Then when I finally got to get my flu shot they told me my insurance wasn’t covered. I’ve gotten my flu shot at this very location before. Horrible customer service.
