If I could give zero stars I would. Manager/or supervisor Mexican guy with the Elvis high top hair very rude. The kid in the front is not bad but they advertise a price online themed try to get you to buy expensive tires. Buy online have tires installed somewhere else.

First of all, this Costco location doesn't sell beer, wine or liquor. That's due to outdated, protectionist, anti-consumer New Jersey State law. (While it's understandable that the owners of small liquor stores would worry about their businesses, a look at California shows that independent alcohol retailers still thrive regardless of competition.)Otherwise, this Costco offers all the benefits of any other location, a great variety of tasting samples and occasionally unexpected surprise discounts, at least if you haven't looked at their most recent circular. Of course, some values are better than others, so it still pays to do your homework around such issues as cost-per-unit calculations. (Yes, I am a nerd.)The staff has been pleasant when approached politely with an issue, and I've always had my concerns addressed in a timely manner. (Remember, they're people, too!) My one minor gripe is that the pizza department hasn't answered the phone when I've tried to call in an order, but I also recognize that they're extra busy and likely understaffed. Still, my kids love the pizza, and it's such a good price that the wait ends up being a small inconvenience. (See, small, independent pizzerias are still thriving in New Jersey despite the competition! And there are many other local pizzerias I count as my favorites and still patronize!)

This is the worst Costco I have ever been in. The employees screaming and yelling across the aisles to one another. The lunatic employees screaming at the customers was a sight to see. People pushing and shoving. Running us down to get to the eggs. It was like a war zone in a 3rd world country. I will NEVER go to this dump again. The behavior from all around is despicable! Union, NJ is officially a DUMP and Costco adds to the "ambiance"!

Very unprofessional and rude, especially the cashier Andre. Who mostly texted during work and hid in the back. Took him 15-20 minute just to come outside and then did not give proper receipt or recommendation in repair.Wasted couple hours of my day just to tell me the tire cant be fixed. Went to another tire shop and they fixed the puncture in 20 minutes. Will never be coming back.

Sadly this location let me down, I was driving and the mud flap fell off of the tractor trailer in front of me, I couldn't get out of the way, and ran it over, so I went to the tire center and they told me that the 2 tires on my right side were damaged beyond repair, and that they had no stock for the size I needed.... they sent me away .My local Costco said they had 12 and gave me an appointment. When they checked the computer this rt22 location HAD 14 tires in my size!I had to drive all the way home on spares.... so SAD and UNPROFESSIONAL....

Costco Wholesale is a popular destination for shoppers seeking a wide range of products at competitive prices. The staff members at this Costco are consistently friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. While the cleanliness of the store may vary, it generally meets the expected standards. One notable advantage of shopping at this Costco is their excellent gas attendants, who provide efficient and friendly service at the fuel station. Whether you're looking to stock up on groceries, household items, or filling up your gas tank, Costco Wholesale offers a convenient and cost-effective solution.

Ordered a $3500 fridge and it was delivered damaged. Have been fighting to get the damaged part replaced. Was told 10 business days and here we are 30 days later and nothing. When you try to call their service is horrible. Spent an hour today on the phone and still dont have an update. NEVER NEVER AGAIN....

Place is totally disorganized. Lines run up the main aisle blocking adjacent aisle. Can't get through. Left my cart. Need to open more registers, have each register have it's own line. Open early. This is why I prefer BJ's.

A long wait to have tires installed, especially with a reservation. Over 2 hours to finish the installation.

One star because zero stars is not an option. I had an appointment, made months in advance, for the hearing aid center for a check up on my hearing aids. I live over an hour away. They left a voicemail yesterday confirming my appointment. I drove out here, fought Union Co traffic, dealt with the nightmare that is the Union Costco parking lot, fought crowds just to get inside the store, and the hearing aid center is closed on Saturdays. If they changed their schedule due to staffing, I understand, but to not call customers who had appointments to let them know is horrible customer service. I now have to drive over an hour home without having had my hearing aids checked, a complete waste of my time.

Tire department needs improving. I've come here twice for tire service. First time was for a tire rotation. My car specifies 35 psi in the front and 42 psi in the rear. Tire department simply moved the fronts to the back and vice versa without bothering to adjust the psi. Second time I got tires installed. They left all tires at less than 35 psi even after I pointed out that their form had a much lower psi and they told me they would go off of what's listed on the door jamb. Oh yeah, they didn't even bother calling me when the tires were installed. I also generally dislike this location, but it is conveniently located.

Had the worst experience ever @ the Costco Union NJ location - I've been a loyal customer for over 24 years have purchased all our automobile tires @ Costco during this time. In July I noticed one of the tires was flat, I refilled it and within 24 hours flat again - so I made an appointment and brought it to Costco Tire center within a week. I was informed that the rim was defective on my Honda Odessey - Being a senior citizen and having owned numerous cars over the years this was the 1st time I had a defective rim. I was surprised, they cleaned the rim, refilled the tire and the next day the same tire was flat. I purchased a new rim which are quite expensive (Honda $600) and brought it to a third party to install - Next morning flat tire - so back to Costco and then what happened shocked me - they tried to flim flam me by spraying water on all the older 3 rims and stated they were all leaking. Not only that, prior to arriving I spoke with both the tire center manager + store manager to coordinate addressing this issue - they opened a 1pm appointment - when I arrived I was told by the rep at the counter I would have to wait hours in queue - I asked to speak with the manager who I had made the arrangement with - He brought out another man who said he was the manager when in fact, he was another tire installer trying to pull the wool over my eyes (he was the one who sprayed the water on the rims and tried to convince me that the other rims were defective. I informed him that for the last 2 months I have only put air in 1 tire every morning so don't try to BS me. I was growing more agitated; they didn't realize they were dealing with a person who has tinkered with cars since I could drive - this was total nonsense. As I raised my voice since I smelled a scam out from the shadows the real manager appears and informs both tire mechanics (including the one posing as the manager) to keep quiet, stop talking and walk away. Another tire tech then took the wheel off and did the water test - they found the leak - this was something they should have done initially but obviously DID NOT. They replaced the tire and no leaks - Now I feel Costco should be responsible for the cost and time involved trying to fix an issue that didn't exist. I will never step foot in another Costco tire center given this experience.

George is the man. Has made an issue right for me and personally made sure the work was accomplished after a mistake on part of Costco.
