My boyfriend has a membership here. I began going with him as a guest a few weeks ago, and I really like this gym. We go later in the evening, and it is never packed. Many of the machines are always available, and since it is not crowded, we have our own space. They have a lot of good equipment and machines. The employees are also very friendly. Their membership rate is also affordable, my boyfriend pays less than $30 a month and I am able to go free as his guest. Overall, very good atmosphere and I enjoy going here for workouts.

I would love for them to reopen the basement, and fix the bugs on the app, but overall i love coming here. It can be very crowded, but people there are pretty considerate and the workers are awesome, I’ve never been overlooked, they always say hi. Once, one of the trainers while he wasn’t even clocked in came over and helped me fix my form so i didn’t hurt my back. I wish i got his name :)

I would love it if the parking wasn't crowded every morning. If you are going to the gym around 8Am, there will be no parking. Other than that, it's a great gym with friendly workers.

The space is always funky, equipment always full of dust, the floor always has bundles of hair and the staff is far from courteous. What I observed is staff gathered in the office or playing some kind of card games and not being attentive and in the middle of a workout you can notice lights blinking to indicate they are about to close up. I know it's not a good experience to see the lights out when I have a 70lb dumbbell above me in the air.

Always full of young white boys filming and getting in the way of your workout. If they aren't in the way they are slamming weights distracting people concentration.

I love coming to this gym. Chevrolet and Deyton are two familiar faces whenever I show up and it’s always a pleasure to chat it up with the guys before I workout. Very friendly environment

pretty alright. less busy than the plainfield location, however they recently changed their weekend hours without notifying anyone, downstairs has been off grounds for awhile now, clean machines and cool staff tho.

Broken equipment and rude management. Downstairs hasn’t been fixed in over a year. Right center cable on the big machine has been broken for months. Might just have to switch over to 24 hour fitness.

Broken equipment and the short manager with the glasses is extremely rude and passive aggressive. Downstairs has been out of service since the dawn of time. What's the point of $20 a month if it's not contributing to the upkeep of the facilities??

Honestly, the place is pretty clean and the location is very convenient compared to all the other gyms on 22, but it would be so much better if they got more equipment. The floors and weight they have aren't suited for deadlifts or hipthrusts, its super annoying to do either of these because its super loud when you bring the weight down and because the weights aren't circular it's never even when you set it down. So it would be super useful to get platforms at the squat rack or a specific hip thrust rack, which would make both of these so much more convenient. It also doesn't have a lot of free weight machines, and they don't have any step platforms so if you need a specific height it's hard to do things. The downstairs area is still closed, which forced you to do ab or hit workouts wherever there's space so thats also a big downside. Overall, this is a good gym if you're starting out, the ambiance is nice, the windows in the back make the space feel very open, the people who go mind their own business, and the employees are helpful and keep everything, including the bathroom, very clean!update: they've added more cardio machines... pls add other things!! like a hack squat machine, or the seated row machines anything but more cardio stuff?

Such an awesome place to be! One of my personal favorite parts about the gym is its shear variety in equipment, they definitely have some pieces gym equipment are hard to find anywhere else. Without a doubt a terrific spot to call your gym!

Great community of people, great trainers, great space. If you are looking for a place to get in shape and actually meet nice people this is the place. Fully recommended!

Still here waiting for mgmt to let us know when the lower level will be opened. Again the upper level is crowded with equipment and uncomfortable. If an eta cannot be provided I'm canceling. Tired of blink mgmt saying "They're looking into it or working on it" They're charging you full price for 1/2 the space, comfort and equipment. Even the staff at Blink is fed up !

I am very disappointed with what blink has become. I’ve been a loyal member for 4 years and used to love going to the union location. It seems like the company does care at all about this location. Downstairs has been closed for almost a year now and nobody is doing anything to fix it. In addition, multiple machines have been broken for several months and yet nobody is doing anything about that either. Now let’s talk about the membership price. I am paying the same rate for half access to the gym as half of it is closed off or broken. Meanwhile, new members are paying a rate lower than mine. How does that make sense? The only reason why I considered staying is because of the workers and gym friends. I always feel welcomed when I walk into the gym and got really close with everyone. A group of us are thinking about canceling our membership unless blink reads this review and takes action. This has been an ongoing problem and most people I talk to in the gym feel the same way
