I got here at 5 o'clock looking for a textbook. The internet says they are open till 6 and there are workers inside but they had locked the doors and wouldn't assist me.

I had an easy time here. As soon as I walked in a team member guided me in the right direction. The book info desk was decent I asked for all the books on my course list and for some reason they kept asking if I would buy everything even after I already said I would. But no big deal. The supply section also had everything I needed to start my semester. The cashier was also great and helpful. Last but not least the 50 percent off holiday books in the new year was great too!

Can I give this bookstore a Zero!? They don’t deserve a 1 star.I'm genuinely puzzled by the way this bookstore operates. The staff consistently hand out the wrong material with misguided confidence.As for the manager? Her tone and attitude are far from professional. She either needs a deep dive into customer service training or maybe a new position elsewhere (It seems like I’m not the only one that has an issue with blonde hair witch- her attitude could use some adjustment). Seriously, her role needs to be re-evaluated.And why are there final sales on rental books after they're no longer needed ( I shouldn’t have to keep a book after a class is drop)? It's just another baffling decision.If they're aiming for a memorable experience, they've certainly nailed it—but for all the wrong reasons.Will be buying textbooks from other bookstores.

Poor staff at the starbucks. I guess the previous staff graduated and now theres new staff.They got my order wrong, both drinks were wrong. They charged me for something i did not order and all three of the staff had attitude over a mistake they made

1. Deceptive business practices. Store carries the namesake and logo of Barnes & Noble yet they are apart from this brand.2. They do not accept returns from other B&N locations and have themselves stated that "despite the B&N association we aren't B&N...we have different rules here..." I'm not returning to this site -- will choose Union, NJ instead! Nor do other -- legitimate B&N -- locations accept their merch for return. -3 stars.3. Store hours are too limited and don't agree with Google Maps' published hours. How can you be closed on a weekend? Because of this I was unable to return a book by deadline. -1 star.

Awful service everytime. The black woman with blonde hair, Miss Tina, the bookstore manager is always rude and mean. She acted like I was such a nuisance to her for picking up my gown at the graduation fair. Then she charged me a $20 late fee so i basically paid double for that gown. Not fair!

I had an issue with a rental book and a purchased book that their employee made the mistake and in the end management didn’t look like they wanted to help me and it resulted in me keeping and buying a book I don’t even need which was 100 dollars which was in terrible condition on top of that and just pushed me along and basically told me oh well that sucks not our problem .

I am truly disappointed because I have always had a good experience here, but today I arrive 6:40pm to purchase a textbook needed for a course. Unfortunately the store closes at 7pm and I arrive and the doors are locked. I think it’s truly unfair to have store hours that say 7pm but doors are locked prior to that time. No courtesy for students who may work late or have a schedule that can only make it at a certain time. Hope this can be situated.

If you're an online student with financial aid. You need a physical ID and the GET app to get books with your aid (I have the app and my student ID number which didn't work). I wish I had known before I took the trip here. I admit, it's not the Barnes & Nobles fault. I'm just disappointed in Kean for not allowing us to buy books with the aid online and now I have to make another trip to get an ID and my books.

I needed to buy access to my math class, I showed them the class specs, and they still sold me the wrong key, but I didn't realize it until I got home and tried to activate the code. I went the next day, and they did not return my 150 dollars. They told me to my face that I had lost my money.
