I recently opened an account with Ponce bank in Union City NJ. Their employees are very friendly. I noticed that they have a security guard. Everything is perfect now. I like the staff and I like that there is only one here in New Jersey.

I have had a checking account with Ponce Bank for two years, as of March, 2022. The customer I receive, both in person and on the phone is excellent. I also love the fact that the Union City, NJ Branch (which is not only the only one in Union City, but the only one in New Jersey, too), is so close to where I live. In person and on the phone, they always treat me right.

Worse customer service. The manager is only looking at her computer and dont help customers that are waiting. Tellers using unacceptable language for a work enviroment. While waiting, I overheard complain of short of staff. I was there 15 minutes waiting and no one was able to help to open an account. The worse part of my waiting was that one of their customer arrived and he was able to sit with the manager. I felt discriminated. Meanwhile, I spend 15 min of my time. The worse service ever. The only thing I did enjoyed was the coffee. That is the reason why I am giving two starts, For the coffee.

This is by far the worst bank I have dealt with in my entire life. They are insensitive, incompetent and ineffectual. Waiting two hours for a transaction that should have taken fifteen minutes.
