“I highly recommend Le Petique Atelier! Vincent is wonderful with my dog who is a very high energy puppy (sweet, but not one to sit calmly). We've brought her here twice and she comes home smelling amazing, soft as can be, and seems to be very comfortable with Vincent. He takes his time and it's apparent he cares about the dogs he grooms. He'll call partway through the appointment with an update on how the dog is doing and when she'll be ready for pick up. He always lets us know how she was during her time there and gives her a few treats as we leave. Puppy seems happy and so are we. Thank you!”

“Recently, my cat stopped eating anything at all and, despite vets finding nothing wrong, he was growing increasingly lethargic, scared, and rapidly losing weight. Even an appetite inducer did nothing to help. After 9 days of eating nothing, including his favorite treats, the owner here recommended a food brand that has now become the only thing I've been able to get him to eat. He is slowly eating more every day and is almost completely back to his old self. I can quite literally say that this store may have saved my cat's life, and I'm eternally grateful.”
“I always enjoy stopping by the store and visiting with the owner while looking for holistic food, treats and grooming needs for my dogs. They also have other options for order such as pick-up and online. The communication is great with text messages for any availability changes or updates. I discovered the store after watching the Netflix movie, "Pet Fooled" and looking for a specific brand of holistic grain-free or raw food and this store had it. They have tons of options and always willing to help or guide you into finding something. It's the Whole Foods market for pets :)”

“I love this place every time I go there Marino helps me out with my budgies. He gives the best advice. He taught me how to get my budgies to trust me and to play with me. He even figured out why one of my budgies wasn’t flying treated the problem and now my budgie is flying again. What a great person he is. “We went to the Fish Hut yesterday and I had no idea looking from the outside what to expect. It is fantastic!!! Everything from your aquarium staples, plants, hard scape, food etc to amazing fish and fabulous staff to help. I have to say all the tanks were clean and I did not see a dead fish in any of the tanks I looked at. It's a thing for me, I see too many dead fish I don't buy from that store. After 50 years in the hobby I know that happens but I don't think customers should see dead fish decomposing. To me that shows no care. Not here, not when I was there. They keep their male bettas in larger bowls in clean water and I'm pretty sure I saw females together(sorority ) in tanks with plants. Now they have your usual fish, mollies, platys etc etc, all beautiful BUT they have a huge choice of Apistogrammas for those who search for these beautiful little cichlids. They have quite the choice of African cichlids, South American cichlids, beautiful Angels and so much more. They also sell tanks and stands, I think at fair prices. It's anywhere from 45-60 minutes from Brooklyn but we'll worth the ride.”

Never heard the owner have a conservative rant near me but that's neither here nor there atp because they are the closest and most reasonably priced place to get my dogs food. For the people who say they got expired pet food--do you not check the label when you buy something at the store? I guarantee petco et al are slow at shelf rotation sometimes. That's on you.”

“Quaint dog themed coffee shop off of Vernon Blvd that welcomes the four-legged critters! Very much a hipster vibe with a separate space for those who wish to have their dogs with them (off-leash!). We ordered Matcha and coffee Americano and they were packaged in to go cups. They also had sandwich and bakery options for a more filling snack. Wine and beer as well! The service was quick even though it was decently busy.”

“I really recommend this place to buy pets because the owner will tell you what are the best starting pets and then what are the more advanced birds to take care of. The owner is very caring and to be honest all around very good place. Food is good and it’s cheep. The birds are cheaper than any other bird shop which is crazy and the birds seem healthy all the time when I pass by the store.”
