An Optimum rep created an account and set up a service without my consent. I now have a charge on this account in my name that I never setup. Now I have to go through the process of deactivating this account andreturning the router THEY sent to me.

Scam scam scam. They included a free one year HBO without notifying us and it gets automatically renew the next year. They also make it extremely hard to cancel their service.

Helen received the call on 8:45, I told her the outage happened at 8:05, she quoted the report saying only 8:28.Then she forwarded me the report doesn’t quote detailed time.What is your job here ? AI can do a better job than you then… did you supervisor teach you how to do business communication?People who use leave one star here wouldn’t spend extra time providing feedback..

Worst of the worst company EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! The scammers and absolute liars. Been dealing with them for 2 years now, because they charged my account and won’t return refund. If you want to be calling them for 2 years and begging for refund, being on hold for 2-3 hours, being lied that refund been send and they never do. Bring 2nd company blaming on them and being transferred back and forth and after saying that it’s other companies problem. Go AHEAD.

Optimums business strategy is to offer you a seemingly good deal and then make it as annoying as possible to cancel or service so you just stick with it out of the frustration of dealing with their customer support. A physical location can not change your cable or internet services they refer to you a number to call. However it's an automated system. But then you also can't do it online you have to call their automated system between specific hours. But wait you'll be transferred between departments and more automated systems all the while providing the same information. Then after all that nonsense they'll offer you lower price on the service you have meaning you've been paying for bad services for more than you had too. And it's still more than what you would be paying with the other popular company. Verizon literally lets you do everything online over a chat window in 15 minutes. 300mb up and down 49.99 ( it's actually 60 but they credit you 10usd if you do everything online and set up automatic payments)For real if everynumber is an automated system why can't i just upgrade or downgrade or cancel or update services online? Why is a physical location unablen to do anything for the costumer other than receive payments? They used to pride themselves in customer service.

Worst service ever. I switched to another provider, word of advice, please confirm that service you have because when I cancelled my account I had to pay 87.00 because according to customer service I had HBO max added to my service which I had never requested, and my monthly payments were only 75.00. Before you are cancelling confirm the services you signed up for.
