Everytime I'm about to cash out they always stand there literally watching me , they don't even try to hide their racism . Also the prices are ridiculous.

weird organization, even higher prices than goodwill. im clearly an adult in my late 20s with a somewhat young looking face and a young employee came up and condescended to me about "putting stuff back when im done playing" while looking through toys (im a vintage collector). first off, thats not my job; its a common courtesy i would have done without you being rude to me. second of all, that tone and sexism was just... wow. third of all, there was mess already there that wasnt even mine. another bitter old lady employee got nasty over us being in the toy aisle as well. pretty much every employee is bumping into you, rushing you, watching you, etc. your loss, was my first and last time here as a big thrifter!

¡THEY HATE YOUR KIDS! Employees have Nasty attitude to your kids, If they see you with your kids trying to buy something they approach unfriendly yelling you not to desorganize toys!
Walmart,Sams Club, Old Navy Etc, Hire Employees to keep inventory organized, that's why they been hired for!?without customers is nothing to oganize, Nothing to sale, No profit,No Job.?
Even the supervisors have this bad ass actitude to customes at this location, If you don't trust me, just see the face of the employees, Not Friendly and with bad attitude.

I've been here several times in the past few months, usually a decent experience, lots of variety. However, today I was FLOORED by the prices. Like, actually double what they were a few weeks ago. 12.99 for a trinket box? 19.99 for a Mets shirt. People used to walk out of here with armfuls of stuff, no longer.

Disappointing and Unwelcoming Experience at My Unique Thrift Store
My friend and I recently visited the Union City location and were appalled by the unacceptable behavior of an employee. We were browsing and sorting through clothes, placing items we were considering on an empty rack to review later. Suddenly, a staff member approached us and began berating us for this common thrift store practice.
When we politely asked for guidance on how to handle the items we didn't want, he initially suggested bringing them to the front. However, he quickly backtracked and aggressively ordered us to return each item to its original rack, claiming it was our responsibility to avoid inconveniencing the staff. This is not only unreasonable but also incorrect - it is the staff's responsibility to maintain the store's organization, not the customers'.
We were taken aback by his unkind tone and gaslighting behavior, making us feel like we were being inconsiderate and ignorant. In reality, we were more than willing to bring the items to the front, as is common practice in many thrift stores. His aggressive demeanor and condescending language made us feel disrespected and unwelcome.
As a result, we were so upset that we left our carts of desired items behind and exited the store. It's a shame, as we had planned to make a significant purchase. Instead, we left with a sour taste in our mouths and a disappointment in the store's customer service.

After being a loyal customer since I was a teenager until now in my mid 20s I decided never to consume from this despicable "thrift store". It all started when I took a trip to unique for back to school shopping for my 3 kids. It was a friday and the store was equipped with their entire staffing. As I was fitting a jacket on my youngest child one of the staff members her name is Lucy proceeded to reprimand my middle child who is 6 years old. However it wasn't Lucy's first time doing so. There was a family in the same department as I was who called out Lucy for also reprimanding their young kids. That's when we decided to notify the manager in charge regarding Lucy's behavior. Management is just as unprofessional as their staff members I highly don't recommend this facility and will never return. I will also be sharing my distasteful experience with everyone I know who still support this business. Don't forget how outrages there prices are for a second hand business. Please don't waste your time visiting this place ?

Employee got angry at us for placing items on a rack to review, claiming we were being inconsiderate and responsible for reorganizing them. When we offered to bring unwanted items to the front, he walked back on the idea and verbally berated us for 4 minutes.
It’s not customers job to do employees work! We were also being totally cooperative. Being told otherwise was extremely out of touch. We left our purchases behind and exited the store, disappointed and unwelcome.

Everything here is over priced. The clothing prices were ridiculous. You can get the same items for virtually the same price at discount stores like Burlington. They need a reality check for pricing.

Came here for the house decor , cds and cute stuff. They had a deal going on . I bought this cute ashtray . Super busy a lot of ppl and employees in the way. I like how they have self serve registers . The tray was $2.69 I payed $1.99

They believe in replacing human cashiers with machines. And their self checks suck more than a walmart. Too hard to scan. And workers are rude and jerks. And dont speak english.
